CCC has some nice trucks and seems legit. In AZ

$1800 is a really tempting deal! I sent him the updated info, we'll see. I think he called the guy and became a little gun-shy when he was told that it needed to be towed back to Charleston and had "other issues".

I talked to the owner. Name is nate. Told me it was making a noise but definitely not a knocking sound. He thinks it's not running on all cylinders. I told him how to check it blah blah blah. I think you need to have someone with some knowledge check it out before even coming up to Charlotte. Sounds like he has distributor issues. Possibly timing and valves that need adjusting.

Unless you are interested I "a dent" of your own type experience.

Good to know care to expand ?

I thought they seem sketchy at first working out of a loading dock bay and advertising cross country I had just seen a few folks on mud an expo pleased with their transactions.

This looks like a really nice project 40. Fresh paint, new steel, Vintage Air, new glass, etc. @coinoperated40 knows the guy. Maybe he will chime in. I was thinking about it so I responded to the ad and got the guy's phone number. Haven't been by to check it out though... He's down near me so if anyone wants me to go look at it for them, let me know. I'd be glad to.

I believe his name is Dave. Still have his address from when I went looking for parts a couple years back. I did take and post a few pictures of the 40 back then. Looked like a project that just took to long to finish, like a lot of them. He was thinking of selling back then, but wanted to finish up a few things. Didn't really check it out to much.

I have seen a few of their trucks in person. If anyone wants to know more talk to me off line. Not talking about it on here.

Wanted .... 1 FJ40/45 windshield knob. I've lived with a regular bolt in that spot for so long it really isn't important to me but if you happen to have one taking up space I'd be happy to take it off your hands.

I've got 9 of them (10 actually but one has a broken end). One is yours. The gnomes thank you for taking inventory off their hands...

I've heard of hoarding ammo but dayum dude. Tell the gnomes thanks. If someone from the triad is headed to the M&G perhaps that is a viable mud ship plan.

Again, THANKS!

Well, I was getting something from R.K a few years ago, and not all of his stash went to Marshall. There was some leftovers that came home with me. I'll make sure it gets to someone who can get it to the M&G.
