WTB - toyota leaf springs (1980-1985) 4x4
so my springs are sagging pretty bad on my 85 pickup, and after some reading i decided to try and rebuild the spring packs and add a leaf or two. To do that i need some donor springs. I am not looking for more then an inch or so of lift, just mainly wanting to re-arc the spring packs.
from what i read the springs are about 2.36" wide so if anyone has and cheap springs let me know. i don't have a problem cutting and drilling as long as the width is correct.
the main leafs have the following measurments if it helps anyone identify some old springs laying around.
80-85 Toyota front
length 45"
front to center 22.5"
rear to center 22.5"
84-88 Toy Rear
length 48"
front to center 20.5"
rear to center 27.5"

I've got some old 40 springs in the backyard, but not sure of the measurements... free to the drill and tap master...

thanks for the offer Brian, i think the 40 springs might be just a bit to wide. i'll have to search some more and see if i can work with them.
Eric, talk to Kyle (72rockcruiser) he has a crap ton of mini truck parts and is trying to sell most of it right now anyway.

Will soon have an entire cab for an fj60 for cheap here. As you could tell in my pics on my 60 posting it does have roof issues but if you need the bottom stuff the rockers have no rust whatsoever. Not going to sell the doors right now but could be talked into it. I am not going to part out individual parts as i have no time for that. You can get the hole thing. I will even try and put it on a bent frame for you if you like. I am keeping the drivetrain. The engine had a knock though.
So let me know if any interest before i send it to the crusher.
