I just picked up a larger parts tumbler. This one is free to someone that needs it. Please don't take it just because it is free, only if you need to clean hardware. Needs a new fan belt, really small.
I've been using vinegar and hand scrubbing with a wirebrush. This seems like a great solution instead. Can I get in line for it?

I have a set of sliders for sale for an 80. I bought them a while back from Shawn but never installed them. I am going another route $300. Pm if interested. I am sure they will fit other truck. You just have to bring the truck and see. They still in the box that i got them.

Rafael, I could use a radiator, and the sliders are from marlin

Do you recall how long they are? The new Marlin sliders are 60" and are a little shorter than their last run of sliders that fit the 80's.

They are 68". They fit the 80 and look good on the 60. I may have to install them on the 60 if no takers.

All yours, shoot me a PM a couple days before the X mas party and I'll bring it with me

Derek I originally bought the sliders for my 92...but you need to place and cut the legs and then weld it all up..

Anybody got a front bumper for a 3rd gen 4Runner? My bud here at work hit a deer yesterday in his '99 and needs a replacement. Let me know.

I was researching tumblers a couple of nights ago. I was actually thinking of getting one for the kids to tumble rocks in. I'll get in line behind Derek. FWIW the HF tumblers supposedly work just fine if you can do a few light mods to make them better. From what I read the drums wear out the little plastic contact points and if a skate wheel is fabbed up as an end roller, they do much better. Also enlarging the roller diameter make them spin just a little faster.

For screws and bolts, I have a couple of short pieces of wood decking material with holes drilled in them. I screw the bolts into the wood and chuck them in the bead blaster and clean them up that way. 10 minutes vs. several hours in a tumbler. A tumbler will actually shine them up though if you use the right media.

You are correct about the little plastic tabs, they do wear fast. Running the hardware in the tumblers usually requires a day and a half or so to get them done.

I went with the 18 lb vibrator type from HF, same machine as Eastwood aside from the different colors. I also found the same machine sold by another company as well. HF was the best deal.

I'd love to sell him mine, but a new front for me is not yet in the budget.

Looking for a running 2f, or at least a 2f longblock with good compression and clean oil

Expanding this search to include any parts truck from 1979 through 1987 with a good running motor.

Did someone need anything picked up from Trollhole. I feel like maybe @GLTHFJ60 bought an engine??

Eric is picking up a trans for me. I think I'm covered. If you are planning a trip there, check with Eric @forrest5000. He's dropping off a truck Monday and may need someone to follow him there. He might already have it all worked out though.

@GLTHFJ60 - I have a bunch of parts from Shasta taking up space in my garage. I'd be happy to donate them to the new patient.
