Oh yea, and a huge RTT!
(Watching this guy park next to me was hilarious. I was watching from the restaurant, and he did several double takes as he got out of the car. I’m sure he was thinking he was so cool with his HE, but then realized all the stuff he was missing out on. At least that’s how it played out in my head) 😂

i get 10.5ish city mpg.

You should have offered to do the "door test" side by side. A 13-15 LX door close feels like a S600 in comparison to latest LC. I love the LC, but will never understand why toyota skimped there on a 90k vehicle.

Don’t ask when I’ll be done... just a little late night tinkering. I only wish I could take it to the trail like this now.

Oh my. As far as we've gotten on the 200-series, looks like the glory days of the platform are still to come.

Someone else will probably beat me too it (I sure hope). I can’t help but dream a little though. I got the 37 to turn lock to lock in low on this side (just a body mount chop) so I thought I’d see how far off the 40 would be. I can see how it could be done but no time soon from me. But doesn’t mean I can’t share a photo to motivate someone else with more resources 🤷🏻‍♂️

this is the top fender clearance with the 37 in low...

I think I’m safe without any metal fender cutting 🤔

When you trim the front bumper like that - the front of the front wheel wells - do you keep the liner in place or just scrap it/cut it out?

Remind me how much body lift you have at the front? And wheel offset?

Looks like it can work. If you need some more millimeters of clearance, you can take a look at camber. Just a touch of negative camber can help. Not bad to have a bit anyways with larger sidewall for better cornering stability.

I'll probably just scrap it, but I may be able to reuse some of it. I didn't really look at it closely last night. That cut will be below what I'll eliminate when I get around to my front bumper.

1 3/4" body lift at the front. Offset should be RW wheel with about another 1/2" width added to the outside edge due the beadlock conversion. 1" front spacers too. I know the 1.25" front spacer is more appropriate for scrub radius from our previous conversation but I didn't want the tire sticking out any further. Front was sitting on my squishy bumpstops in low. Durabump in the front position and Timbren in the back position. I don't think they could compress too much more, or enough to cause an issue but I could be wrong. I was thinking about alignment options because even with the body mount chop the tire is really close to the body mount.

With that amount of body lift and bump stops, you should be golden against the upper fender.

Yeah, the body mount may be trickier. Def going to need a combination of things to make that work including UCAs and alignment to buy more room. And more aggressive of a BMC cut. Hopefully not Taco levels of body mount mods as I hear they need full cutting and re-weld of reconfigured body mounts to clear 35s.
