Actually, I had my yearly detailing done yesterday so it is not that bad. A lot of the pinstriping was superficial and some of the worst ones were pitch left by pine branches from a couple of trips ago. I think a good paint correction would remove the remaining, deeper ones, but I am not going to have that done until the winter. Still, she cleans up nicely, I think:

Did you do that? What was your process!?

New 2014 LX owner as of last week. Took it to Lake Pleasant twice and got it real dirty. Can‘t believe what this beast can do from the factory.
Deleted the 3rd row and performed sensor lift this weekend. Metal tech 4x4 sliders ordered .

I did a hand wash myself using Dawn dishwashing detergent. That got a lot of the superficial marks. After that, I used isopropyl alcohol to work out the pitch.

After that, I called a full service detailer that we use. We had him come to our house and do all of our cars. Whatever he did seemed to do wonders on most of the remaining scratches. He said he went as far as he could without messing with the topcoat.

There are a few deeper ones that you can’t see in the pic, but are pretty obvious at different angles. I’ll see if I can have them buffed out over the winter.

I actually don’t care about them that much, but I figure that a I’ll deal with the worst ones once a year.

Anxious to see those MT sliders. What did they give you for an ETA?
Same. Here’s what they said in the order confirmation: Next run will be available to ship out the week of August 12th

Take care,

Thanks @grinchy. Was set on slee, but now that we have options, I can't decide. 🤔
It's good to have options. Both are solid solutions, depends a lot probably on what 'worst case scenario' you have in mind for your rig.

Added a pic to stay on topic

Your right the door handles did not get changed, but I didn't forget them. Marcin told me that his experience here in Phoenix (hot hot) is that the handles don't last too long. I opted to skip them and figure out something else down the road.
For what it’s worth I had my handles painted. They look great and won’t peel. Another option is swapping them out for the LC OEM part in black.
Hey can you give some detail on the sensor lift for me?

Finally made the jump to 35’s.

@RiDE Noice! 35x12.5s is going to be a regular thing now that the recipe is figured out!

Let us know how that full size spare works out. I've been thinking to put a non-matching 34 like a 295/60R20 (33.9) or 275/65R20 (34.1) spare. Partly because my aux tank pushes things down 1" and I'd like a bit more clearance.
