A wet week camping in Wells Gray Provincial Park. It was pretty muddy but the dirt roads are well maintained. Last week I picked up a set of 2017 Tundra wheels off Craigslist and can't wait to for 285/65R18 STT Pros on order. If they rub, should I sell these rims or get 1.25" wheel spacer?

Last minute run to Slaughterhouse Gulch yesterday. Couple of very satisfying thuds taken on the sliders:)
Really nice not having to worry about taking out the rockers.

What year is yours and what roof rack is that? My wife has same color LX and I will build it in a few years and start driving it when I get her a new one. You need a build thread!

It is a 08 and the rack is a basic Gamiviti flat rack. Sorry, dont have a build thread. Its all basic bolt on stuff done sporadically over the years.

Did you dip or wrap your grill/door handles/fog lights?

Dipped the grill and fog lights and wrapped the door handles. I'm going to see how long the dip last and when it becomes time I'll probably do a real paint where I dipped it along with painting the door handles. It is just a process to paint over that chrome/plastic and get it to adhere right.

Still need to do the door guard chrome and the rear tailgate. I also want to order the black window trim and possibly replace the rear lights to the next generation that doesn't have chrome.. or ill just dip it to see how it looks in black.

Awesome thanks for sharing. I’m real close to wrapping my trim and door handles. On the fence about the grill.

Spring has sprung in Seattle. Took advantage of the 60 degree temps!

Sometimes I feel bad for taking this shiny boy in the woods

I was just going to say, how the hell do you keep it so pretty? Mine is already scratched and dented all to hell lol!

It's a 10-footer for sure. I've got lots of chips and gouges and scuffs that are just not going to come out—and I'm not nice enough to the truck to put any more effort into remediation.

The 570 got some love from Lexus USA at FJ summit this year along side the GXOR concept built by Expedition Overland and Cruiser Outfitters:

Posting this here since it's also appropriate. Picked this up yesterday. 2008, 145k, 285/75R18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Not a huge fan of black but it's what I could find. Two owner Arizona truck. I know the truck color/wheel combo is just like @eatSleepWoof but at least the tires are different. And we are in different countries. Couldn't pass up the deal on the TRD wheels.

Looks great with those tires! Very meaty.

I'll be tire shopping for spring of next year, and will have to consider these!

Do you have a lift or did cut anything to get 285x75x18 almost 35” on your truck??
