Well, some miles were turned. Thank you Cody, Cole, everyone who lead trails, all the behind the scenes work. Made it back to NJ, fam as well safe and sound. Anyone who finds themselves on the east coast between MD and NY reach out, I'm usually around.

After a few days at home I was seeing what I thought was water on the floor mat in the garage. I went to mop it up when it hadn't dried and found it was gear oil.
Taking a look underneath it turns out I had gotten hung up on a rock and as I was backing off, the rock got ground off in the ring around the drain plug and slightly unscrewed the drain plug. It was actively slowly leaking. Able to get a 24mm socket in their enough to tighten it to stop the leak but will need to use a dremel to grind down the ring to get the socket on far enough to torque properly.
Glad it wasn't the diff seal. Fluid was changed and boly properly torque 50K miles ago. Time for a fluid change anyway.

If you’re going to drive it for any miles before changing the fluid, open the full port and top off the gear oil. It only takes a couple minutes and since you can’t really tell how much oil you lost it’s better not to run around starving the pinion of oil

Of course if you’re going to do that, might as well just drain the diff and refill it anyway if you have a catch pan for the old oil.

Thank you to everyone that made LCDC special. I was able to attend three, thankfully spending two of them in Ouray. I was definitely sad to hear that this year is the last, but look forward to the future and meeting up with some of you on either side of the country! Here are the Imogene Pass Day 2 0900 pictures.

Nice meeting you Jeff and thanks for the pictures! Especially the poser rock one, my daughter took pics but she zoomed in on them 😂.

Thanks,
TJ

It was a great read and wonderful event. Thanks Cody and Cole!

Thanks again for all the effort to date.

Thanks @indycole and @codyaustin5 and the spouses for all the effort and work in putting this all together all these years. It has been great and I've met some great friends and Cruiser heads through the years which would never have happened without this event.

Waiting on photos from @linuxgod 😌
Yeah yeah you'll get them, but it might be an early Christmas present.

They're off my camera. That's like the easiest step and yet it took me like 10 days to get that done. A bunch of life stuff immediately got in the way when I got home, and as much as I love posting the pics for you guys I likely won't have time to pick through and clean a few up for at least a few weeks.

Ok, more like a Mardi Grad present, I guess. I was kindly reminded last week that I hadn't actually posted these. I had most polished up but hadn't quite finished nor uploaded to my gallery. In fairness I also have photos from COTR, Cruise Moab, a trip to London, and a winter trip to Joshua Tree and Death Valley that I haven't polished and uploaded either, so yeah I just generally fell behind and... well, y'all get what you pay for! ;)

I'll post web-sized pics and tag those whose forum handles I know - if someone knows whose vehicle any unknown ones are, just let me know and I'll update the posts. And if anyone wants the full resolution photos to print (these print nicely on 16x24 canvas, if you need some wall art), please PM met.
