i'd love to go to 37's, i'd be lucky to convince the wife that 35's would be fine. i'd love to see some pics too. it helps me at least if you guys could include how you got enough space to fit em. :)

You can check out mine if you'd like. I'm in Paradise, had the cruiser in Chico a lot last weekend.

heavy J springs
shocks are whatever came with the J kit, 2 inch Metal Tech spacers
front and rear 2 in bumpstop ext
no body lift
a little massaging of the front fender well closest to the doors
these are 38x14.50R16 Toyo MTs with 2 inch backspacing ( they actually measure to be 36s at 30 psi and 50% tread)
No spacers

notes: I run these tires on my samurai. the backspacing needs to be in the 3.5 to 4 range to work better on the 80. when flexed, tires with rub fender flares. I currently run 36x15.50r16 Mickey T ATZs that measure to be right under 35s. the Mickeys with 4.5 inch backspacing I can tuck in the fenders/flares no problem.

Bottom pic is a comparison between the 2 in BS wheels on driver side vs 4.5 BS wheels on passenger side

Kyle, you wheeled it like that? Doors fit back on afterwards?

1 trail at Windrock. Havent tried to put them back on yet, I am sure they will be fine, the cage keeps things pretty tight, and that rocker is not as dented as it looks :D (or will be adjusted via BFH).

Here's both my 80s' The Shortbus has 39.5" Swampers on front and Boggers on back. The V80 has 39.5" Swampers all around on hummer wheels. Both trucks have 6" slee lifts. Kirk
