Isn't it just Awesome to be so excited about something like new tires that you just can't stop yourself for just one more day from telling everyone in the whole world about your new tires.:bounce::clap:
Looking forward to seeing the 1st set of 37" STT Pros on a 80.

Yea i know i got too excited when i picked them up from discount tire today!

I run the STTs; buddy of mine just put them on his 94, said they do well.

They use the same carcass as the STT, so the tires perform very similar to the STTs in rocks, dirt, etc. Can't comment on mud or snow because we don't see a ton of that here.

Won't be the first.

From what I have heard, they made a compound change to reduce chunking. The newer STT has chunked less and we beat them pretty hard. The STT Pro claims to be even better, time will tell. Overall, with the way we abuse them, all tires look ratty sooner than later.

Touché but that was first trip out and I was pissed :D

Just comparing to 5-6 other different tires on the same trail same truck same driver. Good to hear on the new compound.

I'm about to replace my old style MTR's, with Toyo Open Country R/T's. Anyone here running these?

Oh, and here it is on 37" MTR's...

I'd be unhappy If my tire looked like yours as well. 2/3ds of the lug Is gone, I'd have a hard time getting that picture out of mt head. I hope your faring better now. :) Good Luck..!

Got the 37's all mounted up, now i just need to find some time before the storm this weekend to flex it out and see where i need to trim. Im hoping it clears my rear bumper but we will see, nothing a plasma cutter cant take care of!

Been looking at the Toyo Open country r/t's in 37x13.5 but may check thoes out. Did not know Cooper changed there STT's

they just came out this summer, discount fxxxed up and quoted me for the old cooper STT so i got them for $310 a piece!
