Check out post 73 & 75 on page 4 by @timjax. Freeman Toyota. Instal and alignment for $350. Also post 321 on this page Although it’s not a dealership. I’m scheduled at Tandem Off-road for the 9th to have a set installed as well as getting power brakes installed upfront. I’d do them all myself as it’s pretty easy but am crunched for time. Tandem specializes in Toyota.
Any feedback on your install with Tandem? Scheduled for next week for strut spacers (OEM), wheel spacers (Bora 1" F&R) and 285/65-18 Wildpeak AT4

Need some help! My local Toyota dealer just said this install would be 6 hours @$152 on my 2020 HE. They started to explain all that had to happen but it sounded way overkill. Whats the hours that it should be? Can someone explain the summary of the install so I can explain? Any recommendations on what to do here?
That quote sounds ridiculous. I got varying quotes from different Toyota dealers. A major local dealer charged me around $375 if I remember correctly. Shop around.

Also, 4x4 shops that install lifts on pickups should not have a problem with this job.

I called two toyota dealers the other day, one $900, one $350. Did $350 yesterday + $99 alignment as I just put arb summit bumper on prior weekend. After installing a lift previously ( to avoid wrestling that kdss again with even taller coils) & to avoid the heat in my garage - I gladly paid $350. $152 is a good deal.

I assumed he meant $152/hour x 6 hours.

They did a great job. Mine was a little unique because we found that one of my front OEM shocks was leaking and toast. My ‘17 had about 110k miles on it. That being said they recommend replacing both front shocks with Bilstein 6112. We did install the spacers and kept the shocks adjusted to a factory height given I had already purchased them. I made this call because I had made the decision to swap out the front end with a Tundra front end utilizing Total Chaos Upper and Lower Control arms and King shocks. This is a 3 year plan to source all the parts so the spacer lift was only to get me through that time frame.
Over all I was very happy with the work at Tandem, they did a great job and in a timely manner. They also have alignment in the shop which is very convenient! I am very happy with Tandem and also used them to source and install a set of Powerbrakes.
You will be happy with the end result for sure!

Book rate is 3 hours to replace the front struts, plus an alignment. Spacers just go on top of the struts

Yeah, make sure they know they aren’t dissembling the front strut, meaning the spring doesn’t need to be compressed. Just remove the whole strut and spring as an assembly, toss the spacer over the top mounting studs, reinstall.

Yep, I think the 6 hours was total disassembly.

Duggy's quoted me $1338 to do the spacers and alignment. Guess I need to call around to some other shops.
Don Mcgill charged me $650, alignment included (still a bit steep, but it is close to my house and convenient). Duggy's quoted me the same as you - $1300. I worked with Duggy's in the past and they do a good job, but I feel lately they have been just giving out absurd quotes. Maybe they need to pay for the new space they moved to, but not on my dime. I would steer clear, unless they get back to reality.

Post a picture of how it turned out. I'd love to see the result.

Before and after. It totally achieved what I wanted and turns the pronounced rake into a very mild one - which avoids squatting in case you load the rear. The HE 2rows with the OEM spacer is the best look/stance in my opinion. Hope it helps.

Very beautiful my H-Town brethen ! How's the nose dive before/after the 10mm spacers?

And totally agree with you and Doug's garage, I have the exact same feeling, sadly. If you ever need anything done, Jesus at TEQ Autosolutions is excellent and fair. Which Don McGill, Katy or Dairy Ashford? Jesus will be a hike, but well worth it !

Honestly, haven't notice much difference, but I was not looking for it so I just might have missed some improvement. DM between Dairy Ashford and Kirkwood. Good luck.

Is there any consensus on weather to opt for the OEM spacer or the Westcott front preload collar kit? The latter is certainly more expensive. I have a 2 row HE so not sure if the OEM spacer will get the truck sitting level or not. Although I don't mind a bit of rake and appreciate the benefits of it when loading up for a long trip. Any thoughts?

I've got the OEM front spacer with heavier OME rear springs (I can't remember off hand which 27xx variant) on my '21 3 row HE. I still have a little rake, but not "ratfink" style. I have a 40 gallon LRA tank which is likely a different use case than what you're seeking clarity on though.

Far more people have done the factory spacer, if that says anything about consensus.

For me, the decision is easy. One was designed by Toyota to work within the limitations of the factory suspension geometry and damping, and the other wasn’t.

I went the OEM spacer route for my 2 row HE and it is definitely not level at all. It's better than what it was but with the HE having that taller spring in the rear I feel that the OEM spacer works better with a non-HE to create the more level look. I plan to eventually do Bilstein's up front to achieve that level look. I'll probably just keep the rear suspension as is.

Echoing here what others said. Just take a look at my truck above (the white HE). It is a 2 row like yours and you can see the pic after the install still shows a rake. Slightly less than before, but it is still there. I do appreciate that and (to my eyes and IMO) a leveled truck is just not right since that is not how Toyota designed them. Let alone if you put weight in the back or tow with it. Squat is certain. I also second the comment about one solution being designed by Toyota for the truck and the other not. For reference, I am running 285/65/18 KO3s.
