No onboard nav or gps so coordinates do me no good. Maybe @Clunky has directions.
You could enter the coordinates in Google map and print the directions.

I have added the maps to the first post. The camping spot for 2019 is a little farther down (east) on 231. I marked the approximate location with a red circle. No onboard nav or gps so coordinates do me no good. Maybe @Clunky has directions.
Much appreciated Brice. Looking forward to this. TomI have added the maps to the first post. The camping spot for 2019 is a little farther down (east) on 231. I marked the approximate location with a red circle.
The easiest way to get to the camping spot is I-17 to the 89A (which is the Flagstaff airport exit). Take the 89A south (toward Sedona) and about 7.8 miles you will come across Forrest Road 535 on your right. Turn onto 535 and then follow the maps.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions.

I will add that getting through the traffic in Sedona on a Saturday can be painfully s-l-o-w. Im going to try going up to Flagg then coming back down 89A. It might be a few more miles but Im thinking it will quicker to the turn off? Anyone with thoughts/experience on that?
A route from I-17 that avoids both Sedona and Flagstaff:
Exit I-17 at Kachina Village
West on 237 West to 89A
South on 89A to 535
West on 535 to 536
West on 536 to 231
South on 231 to camp
This route from 535 onward is shown on the .pdf posted in page one of this thread.

Never been on 237 by Kachina Village. Is it north or south of the exit. Depending on condition of 237 not sure it would save any time over the airport exit which is only a couple miles further and still south of Flagstaff. Isn't until I-17 ends and becomes Milton does traffic become a nightmare. If I wanted to pick up anything in Flagstaff like gas would exit at Lake Mary road. Go under the freeway then turn north. Not sure the name of the road but just before the shopping center with Walmart turn right in front of it. It will take you to old route 66 west of town. There is a Maverick gas station which is before Woody Mountain road which turns in to 231. Woody Mountain road is a left turn. This route avoids Milton. Would have to search but can take a side road and cut down to Safeway and back up. We are in Flagstaff a couple times a month and avoid Milton and from where it turns into historic route 66 to the mall.
Exit, fo west, then go immediately south. You can see it on Google Maps.
I don't know if it saves any time but I'd guess it saves a little time, but that's sort of besides the point: It's a nice dirt route through nice woods that avoids going into town, for those interested. There's a mini mart and gas station at the exit.
Ill be heading up Sat 600 am if any one wants to caravan? I'm good as either a trail alternate or hanging out/exploring the camp area. Camping sat pm then out early Sunday am to get to the stadium for the Cards game. It'll be good to catch up with everyone after this long summer hiatus!
Think I'll be heading up Sat AM as well but this sounds too early![]()
How do I dislike this post.....Abigail was always in for two nights camping. I guess one night is better than none![]()
