It's a little early to post about this but since Dave was asking in the Sept Meeting thread, why not?

The October meeting will be at my house on Friday, Oct. 3 at 6:00 PM. The usual rules apply. BYOB. Bring a dish to share. Bring the whole family.

My address is 4445 Rancho Centro NW, 87120. That's near Golf Course Rd and Paseo Del Norte. Google maps does a fine job finding it and even shows the right house in their "Street View" feature.

What? Which would you rather do, go wheeling or sit around and talk about it?? Oh, wait.... neeeever mind.

Can you get a GPS track of where you go?

Bummer. I'm out.

I'm going to be driving Dad's 40 (unless I change my mind and take the faux-lux) around the Cumbres and Toltec on the 3rd, and riding it on the 4th.

Have fun guys!

I don't have a GPS. I get enough of that new technology crap at work and on the phone. I could bring a GPS along with me though if someone wanted. Or someone with a GPS could figure out a way to take friday off and go with me....

I'm out. Working fool I am.

Sucker. Maybe I need to give you lessons in not working. Then you can give me lessons in getting a paycheck--we'll call it even. :flipoff2:

Send us some photos when you get back so we can see how much worse it was than sitting around BSing and drinking beer.

You going to be in town? Stop by if you get off early enough. You might be able to snag some food and then head out.

I'll be getting off from work at my usual 11pm time. I am working overtime at the airport for the next two weeks. Being short staffed to run an full operation is not a good thing for employee morale.

Thank though Marc. I appreciate it.

Ah. Well then don't stop by after work because I'll probably be asleep.

This meeting is 2 days away. Who's coming?

I'd like to try to end the meeting a little earlier than usual, ~ 8.

I'll be there.

Ross and I are going to Las Cruces Friday.

Have fun guys and text me if you need to vote on booting you-know-who out of the club for non-participation. I realize it has been discussed for a few weeks now, but I want my vote counted even if I cannot be there.

(That should increase attendance at the meeting.. )

Just because the Club President misses a couple meetings doesn't really qualify as non-participation. Or were you referring to my lack of using my 4WD Toyota for club runs since it's been at least 8 months. I drove it to a meeting several months ago. You're not allowed to vote out the person hosting the meeting. If that's not in the by-laws then it should be.

If I get out of work early enough (doubt that though,I have to deliver paychecks to our employees)just me as usual.

Daisy for sure, Momma and the boy are maybes.

Marc, do you need me to bring anything?

Daisy

Standard procedure for regular monthly meetings is that you bring something to share - dessert, pizza, fried chicken, salad, whatever - and your own drinks. The host usually provides some type of main dish - burgers, sausages, pasta, sloppy joes, etc.
