O2 sensors won’t fit. (1 Viewer)

I removed the oxygen sensors from my 93 fzj and the new ones I got from wits end have different connections on the ends that won’t fit in the truck and different colored wires. Is there a way I could splice the old connectors on the new sensors to get my truck going again? I have grey, brown, white and blue on the old ones. And black, black, blue, and white on the new ones.

Yes I left a message, I’m not doubting that they are the correct parts I think my truck may have had the connectors replaced with universal sensors. But 400$ from the dealer is not an option and I don’t have a lot of time to fix it.
Just wondering if anyone knows what wires match up were so I can make it happen.

You might have gotten 1995-1997 versions incorrectly. That’s a possibility as well.

Yes I didn’t realize the 93 has a different connections. My bad, sorry for my public panic attack lol

Another possibility: You received universal connector style sensors and they would most likely not mate with the harness side connectors. I’ve seen that many times.

Yea it my fault I ordered the correct parts for a 95+ that’s why it won’t work on my 93. I ordered some from my dealership, expensive but they said I can check them against the old ones before I have to buy them.

Will these trucks start without the oxygen sensors in? Not to drive it just to get radiator flush out of it and replace with water bc I won’t have new sensors for a few days.

Where you able to get it from Autozone? Also let me know how the installation goes. I should be doing it soon, once i save some money

I called local parts chains and did find the denso sensors that will fit and Bosch as well but all special order, no one can get it faster than Toyota so I’m just gonna have to fork over for the Toyota kit from the dealer.
