As most have reported, my nuts are rusty!:hillbilly:

I figured the shipping would be more than the part from CDan, so I called my local parts guy and he's having a hard time locating my nuts.:hillbilly:

My question is three part:

A.) Does anyone know the p/n for the O2 Sensor Nuts.

B.) Are the studs on the O2 Sensor Bung screw in or welded in?

C.) If the studs are screw in, what's the p/n for the studs?

Thanks,
Polak

I'm fairly certain that the size of everything (studs and nuts) is M8 x 1.25.

When I did my O2 sensors, I just went to the hardware store and got parts off the shelf. In addition, Craftsman "Bolt Outs" and a MAPP gas torch are pretty nice to have if your nuts are rusted.

The studs are one piece with the exhaust tubing. The nuts are 90179-08059

Have a look. Photo at the page bottom might help.

Yeah, saw that, but no p/n's.

I'm fairly certain that the size of everything (studs and nuts) is M6.

That helps if I have to go to NAPA or TSC.

Thanks!

Awsome, that's news I can use.

Thanks all, I didn't want to start pouring heat, PB, and torque to these things w/o a back-up plan.

Thanks again,
Polak

Dan provides free shipping on orders over $100 and new 02 sensors are about $220, nuts included.

Good thread I ordered a new rear O2 and went to replace it last night and even with soaking the nuts the last two evenings in PB blaster the first one I attempted broke off. So my morning started out with this search and off to a good start. I have one nut holding it on for now and will order the Slee bung and just get rid of the 55 gallon drum. Good deal. :)
