I was talking with CT this morning. We are amazed at your patience. I'd have A. never taken this on but B. definitely given up by now because I couldn't crank and drive it.

to be sure this will be a show stopper when complete.......in 2022.

Thanks. You are wrong in the timeframe though; I truly think I can have this knocked out in about a year. Hope I'm not wrong about all of this, but I'm making good progress.

hell. i was thinking youd be done by spring at the latest.

The biggest hangup I think will be body/paint. If I outsource it though, I can certainly speed things up.

Installed a few heater pieces and engine hook to the block. Loosely placed the intake manifold too. This is how it sits now. Had to order a used heater pipe from SOR, and bought a few other odds and ends I was missing.

Keep in mind, I started tearing it apart around April 21st.

PCV hose clips to it. Goes on the rear valve cover bolt.

Nope, that can't be right; at least the location. The inner diameter of the hole is too small to allow the bottom of the acorn nut through it.

Ok team. I need help figuring out what the part is, and where it's supposed to go. Pretty sure it goes underneath a valve cover bolt, but not sure...

I got one like that on the front of the valve cover

Then it's the one that mounts to the firewall above the brake booster and holds the vaccume line for the booster.

Nope, that one is accounted for. This one is smaller. Looks like it'd hold a soft line, maybe 3/8" in diameter. Too small for the brake booster vacuum line.

Unless I'm talking about something different.

Can someone post a pic of what you are talking about?

Not sure about your year, but on my 71, there's a bracket like that that attaches to the passenger side mounting bolt on the lower thermostat housing, stands vertical, and supports the hard fuel line as it heads over the upper t-stat housing next to the valve cover then over to the carb.
