Installed… quite happy with the results. I’ve only made a lap around greater Victoria, but the 30ish mm bar makes s noticeable difference. It corners with much flatter now without being too harsh riding.

I like how the flipstep puts a dog in the pictures, but then they deck the freakin thing with expanded metal aka dog toenail remover. So I've been trying to solve this problem for a while. Tailgate height and getting in and out of the back end.
This thing is really too expensive. But apparently warrantied forever. It's thin profile, takes a lot of weight and is easy to use.

Not bad idea, but center of tire or swingout is still too close to the tailgate unless you had the step offset to the center or designedThinking about it ( because I have the same issue)
My tire carrier is always open when I have the tailgate open. (obviously...)
a bar that hinged off the back of it with a 90 on the end...it could be up over the tire when closed and flip down when open to be a step.
Or a second hinge so the 90 piece would fold flat when stored...
Measurements would need some playing with, but here's a 3 minute paint sketch as I make good use of my time at work

Maybe it wouldn't work, but it'd be easy to try. Especially on my s***ty old carrier lol
Mine reaches past the back of the tailgate, so I'd think it'd be doable. I'll poke around with it next week.unless you had the step offset to the center or designed
a bit to be accessible from the rear or perpendicular to the swingout.
My point was they're advertising it for a dog, and then you have to modify the expensive thing to not risk injuring it?tie wrap entryway rubberized carpet to it for a dog. I'd be tempted to cut in in half and double or more its width. But for camping where
I do cook on the tailgate a narrow step would save my knees and give me the room.
I like it, nice work!Charcoal grills!
I have a small very controllable grill I use manny times a week.

I long felt I needed a larger grill for larger cooks but also slower cooks and smoke.
My inspiration

Is it one of those things for the plug on the sink?Anyone installed a sink faucet with something like this on it?
Picked up a basin sink for the bathroom, but this is different...
Black plastic tube comes from the bottom of the tap to this grey plastic fitting. Threaded like it screwed onto something.
Kinda looks like a foot valve but my best guess is for aeration?

I'll hook it up and see if water pisses out of it I guess.
No it's a tube for something. Air , water or soap. Although I doubt soap because it'd be pulling it all the time.Is it one of those things for the plug on the sink?
Some faucets have a thing you pull to plug the sink drain., it goes via a thing similar to a brake cable on a bike...
