Hey fellas, it's been a while since my last post and also a while since I've been wheeling because of school and all that jazz. But I wanted to go wheeling this coming weekend, but the I remembered that I couldn't find in my owners manual how to shut off the traction control. Can anyone help me out? (05 'runner 6cyl)

You can't unless you lock the center diff. That is if yours is 4WD.

It is 4wd
Center diff locked or you have to mod it (disable VSC)
Stupid Question: What's the advantage of doing this, just for more options? Thx.

When the VSC activates it actually decreases engine power (causing it to lag)...if you disable it you get full power. Not really needed IMO unless you plan on power slides and such
