My 1985 f60 quit while warming up in my driveway. Looks like its not getting fuel. Before I drop the tank and go after the fuel pump I wanted to ask if anyone knows if it has a fuel pump relay and if so where it may be located? I'd like to rule that out before replacing the pump.
Thanks

Unless your 60 has a Holley Sniper or some other fuel injection on it it's going get fuel via a mechanical fuel pump on the passenger side of the block.

I’d start by checking the following:

-Are there any blockages in the fuel line that goes to the carb?
-Any blockages in the fuel lines going to the pump?
-Is any fuel leaking out of the fuel pump or it's connections?
-Check the oil and see if it smells like fuel because the internal fuel pump diaphragm is leaking internally and pouring into the crankcase

Here's a good article on them:

if your FJ60 quit all at one time while warming up , and now your Carburetor Sight Glass Looks like its not getting fuel. / empty ?
- then what can cause this all at one short moment ?

- eazy peezy .....
- the below can fail in one instant , or never simply open , and then also falls under mr. @yotadude520 's blockage from line to carb. itself
- your FCS / ICS Idle / Fuel Cut Solenoid has either failed , or one of the 2 wires is no longer part of its electrical circuit ? B+ / NEG-
- follow the FSM step by steps to confirm and verify it is in correct good working order or ............Not ?

if stock, the fuel system is very basic.
are you sure you have gas in the tank?
if you end up changing the fuel pump on the block, don't forget the spacer
will it fire if pouring a smidge of gas or either in the carb?

Hi, Also are you getting fuel to the filter and then to the pump?

OK, this is kinda embarrassing. Fuel pump is working fine. Sprayed gas all over my driveway. Now it looks like I'm not getting spark. I swapped out the cap and rotor and still no start or even a spark. Coil maybe? Can I connect a spark plug directly to the coil wire and check for spark?
In my defense, its been 40 yrs since I've worked on a carbureted engine. And even then it was a shlt show. Any help is appreciated....
