Just saw this on Charlotte CL. Thought I'd post here vs. in the classifieds. No affiliation, just stumbled upon.

It looks like a '75 to me or a '77 with a '75 top anyway. I made contact with the seller. Turns out that I know the seller's family. Well known farming family in my area. I'll try to get by to look at the truck and keep y'all posted.
I thought you liked rust?
Did not look at the frame. It’s probably fine. I can look again if you are interested. I’ll be back out there again Saturday. The owner promised me that the engine will spin free and that it ran when parked 10+ years ago. The passenger seat and gas tank have been unbolted and are just piled inside the truck. Last two pics I have:@roadstr6 How did the frame look?
Thanks for offering, but you don't need to do that. I don't think I'd be up for tackling the restoration of a 40 this rough at the moment. Tempting though.Did not look at the frame. I'll bet that 60 will be gone by Tuesday. The secret is out now.As I said earlier in this thread, there are more cruisers at this location than just the mustard ‘75. There were two others. I brought one of them home yesterday. It’s an ‘82 FJ40 with factory power steering, dealer installed ac and cruise. The seller also has a ‘84 FJ60 that is in good cosmetic shape with 300k miles.
I just bought this:

This one is still there along with the mustard ‘75:

The 60 is not running at the moment thanks to a gummed up carb. I left the seller a carb gasket that he needed to get the carb back together and he said he’d get it back running in short order. He’s looking for $5k -$5,500 for the 60. He’s a bit steep IMO but y’all know the market on these trucks. It’s insane.

No. I can provide a phone number for if you want it. PM me if you do.The 40 listing is gone.
Has the 60 been listed on CL?
I paid more than I wanted to, but i think it’s worth it.Depending on price...that was a smart buy on the ‘82. Those seem to sell for decent money in way worse shape then the one above appears to be in.
Guess that guys favorite color is yellow or those were the trucks selling the slowest on their lot.
