Next club wheeling day October

Well just so happens that our next regularly scheduled club ride date coincides with the Fall Crawl. The guys from VA and the DC area will be wheeling Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th. They're tentatively talking about wheeling AAOA Friday and Rausch Saturday. A few may be interested in wheeling Thursday or Sunday too but I can't speak for them. It's a great opportunity for some fun wheeling and camaraderie among the clubs involved, should be enough trucks between all of us for a few groups.
Crusha and I talked about a day at AAOA doing the trails down in the far corner- upper and lower anthracite, the pit, maybe either Barney Rubble or Twister on the way out there. Certainly enough good trails there for a good day of somewhat challenging wheeling. I suspect that will be the plan for Friday.
Saturday who knows a day at Rausch is always fun. Anyway who's gonna be able to make it?

If you are in for a multiple wheeling days at Fall Crawl, you cold spend a night or two.
Camp free at Rausch, or grab a local hotel if you prefer.
I'll go find the CLCC thread on it and post here, hold on....

Andy, what time are you heading out on Thursday? I may be able to tag along that day if you don't mind.

I will also try for Saturday if work permits. Hoping to use up my punch card at Rausch before it expires. I also expect to need some seat time to get used to the lift and new suspension, but as long as I follow Vince it has all worked out fine so far.

I will be there. My BP-51 setup is going in this weekend. Looking forward to testing it out over the next few weeks at Vermont Overland Rally and Rausch Creek.

Just barely beat the sun, but got the sliders on... I’m told they’re good for rock protection - better for stopping the girlfriend from bitching about getting in the truck.
