Not really, I've been lurking on here for a while, just decided to join up today.

I work for Javiers Autos Unlimited in Houston, where we do full Diagnostic and Auto Repair, as well as have a full fabrication shop. We have a website in the works, and as soon as it up hopefully we will have a banner here on MUD.

My boss, Javier, has an FJ-40 on 37" Iroks, 4 link rear, stock axles with 4.88s, detroits, and longfields. He has an Advance Adapters Rock Box, miles of tube and a bunch of other stuff I cant remember.

I am currently building myself a new rig. It has a full tube chassis that I designed, a Twisted Customs FJ-40 front clip, '85 4-runner running gear, 14" SAW Coilovers, SAW Air Bumps, 39.5" Iroks on Teflon Mojave Wheels, Lockers, gears, and a bunch of other stuff I cant remember.

looks cool, i like the tube work on your boss's rig.

edit... get a shot of the rear if you can where the exo ties back into the rear of the fj40

Nice rigs bro!

Hey thanks for the compliments guys. Heres a shot of the back of the Cruiser, just has a 2x4 crossmember/bumper that the tube work ties into. Pretty soon that thing is going under the knife, getting a Tuned Port 350, SM465, Atlas 4 spd, 60/14b, and coilovers all the way around. Hopefully we will also be building a new frame for it. His rear 4 link was done a few years ago, and theres things that have got to go, like the bumpstop mounts you see in the picture.

Also, click on the link in my sig to see pics of other cool stuff.

Nice rigs; cool pics thanks for posting

What's up, Dave?? Good to see you finally posting up some of your work here. You need to post up some pics of the 83 buggy you just finished and sold. If anyone needs some killer fab work in Houston, Dave is the guy to call on.

Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a few of Dave's last buggy. That's me riding shotgun in the last pic!!

Thanks Jason! I think that much travel might be a little useless on the rocks, but should be fun when it comes time to head to the desert.

Hard to see in that last picture, but the tire is about 1/4" away from the tube. Thats why I want your Dad to make me some glass fenders, so I have body all the way to the back of the car, instead of having the skins stop in front of the tires.

Excellent work man. I like your current build up too.
3.4 liter? gears? link specs? did I miss that somewhere?
thanks for posting up.

Word. I think if you brought it up, we could figure out what we need to do on that back section. Are you planning on running any tube under the fiberglass or just skin it?
