hello guys,
New guy here, i just bought my 2017 blizzard pearl LC 2 weeks ago, my first Toyota since my S/C'd 2001 tacoma 4 door.
Im a car guy, and ive always wanted a LC, i have owned a GX460, Range rover, Tahoe, suburban and tons of jeeps. I sold my 2015 Grand Cherokee with the 3.0 Turbo diesel for the LC, i still have a 2015 Wrangler rubicon on 37's that's my hardcore off road toy.
Question!
Im a big guy (6'4 285 lbs, and im torso tall) and headroom is tight- what can be done to buy me as close to and inch as possible? Losing a few Lbs would be a great solution, but what can i do to get some more headroom?
It seems that there is at least 1/2" to possibly 3/4' in the headliner that could be cut and just replace with factory headliner covering minus the padding- that's surgery though, and i wanted to see if there are any other tricks that can be used?
Ive modified other cars (like my CTSV by flipping the seat rails) and it bought me 3/4"...
But the base of the seat looks pretty tight, so im going to ask you guys if there are any thoughts.
Thanks in advance, this forum has been fun to watch and learn from so far, not as much attitude as the Jeep forums!
