This build is for Steve Edwards a really good friend of mine. I have been spending months to get him to buily a toya product. He was dead set on a jeep till he saw the 45 tub on medusas build . He fell in love and it started there. This build is in the begining stages and will revolve around A 45 tub if we can get it to florida.

Ok here are some of the specs. And are subject to change.

fj45 tub and front clip
full width 14 bolt rear / dana 60 front
4 link rear w/1/4 eliptical or coils(not shure yet)
3 link front W/coils or 63" chebys
fuel injected 350
sm465
203/dana 300 (twin sticked and 4to1)

Well that is the start and we will start sourcing parts this week and get some pics up of the loot.

Any input on desirable axle width and what vehicals they are out of would be of some help. Keep in mind that most hard parts need to be found in a salvage yard. As a friend of his ownes one and Steve has a wrecker company and he can get the parts cheap or free.

Sounds like my kinda build :smokin:
What sized tires you gonna run?
If you don't already have the front axle, I'd go for the Ford driver drop kingpin, flip the Dana 300 & add a JB Conv. or AA 32 spline kit.
Definitely go w/ links over leafs :bounce:
Full hydro?
Y'all pickin up that free tub advertised in the for sale section or the one on Ebay up in Jersey?

once you flip a D 300 add the 203, and 4:1, plus the HD outputs you may as well have just found an ATLAS.. (but then you get away from the junkyard build Style) ;)

sounds like my kind of build! need some photos!

Yes that is the tub and it belongs to a local and a friend of mine. We are working out the logistics now and hope to have it here in a few weeks. The flip is doable and a viable option. I fowned a ton of ford d60 but no chevy or dodge today.

We do intend a 4:1 and the hd outputs but that will be done as upgrades. And photoes will come soon I promise. Hopefully the owner will join mud and give his input as I am just the builder/designer.

not shure on the tires . some where between 38 to 40

with a light rig and 14B ( you gonna shave it .. ? ) and D60 at least 40 .. better42"

Yes I will be shaving it. I am watching the tire size due to the d300 and the capability to do front diggs. Which I think are cool. Wont use it much in florida but still cool none the less.
