I was hit up in a DM to provide the outcome of this and while I have a Toyota belt for when I finally install the correct alternator for now to keep me enjoying her. Toyota no longer sells the two shorter belts that would have worked so I went with Napa and after a few tries I got the 25-22495 to work for me.

I am pretty sure it is 495 hence the part number.
That would be very short.
Maybe 49.5 inches??
Mine is 43 inches on my H engine x 17mm wide.

Every belt I have seen here is specified as external length. Sometimes they also specify internal length.
Tbh I don't know why you'd buy a 'genuine' belt.
Just measure the length and width and find a good quality modern belt that fits.

Does anyone know which retailer sells Mitsuboshi products in the US? Im looking for part number 90916-02044. I would really appreciate some information on where I can buy this V-Belt. It's the correct part number for my Land Cruiser. I have done the research. Many thanks, Gerhard
90916-02044 is discontinued. Mitsuboshi no longer manufactures that part number.
Use 99343-11060 or 99343-11070 instead. The latter would be Mitsuboshi PN: RECMF8415
