Wiring my roof rack finally, this has taken a long time. I removed the factory antenna, it was broken anyway, and ran the wires through the hole. Dremel time for the antenna shaft.

Next I put 2 jegs terminal blocks on the cruise control box and ran 8ga to the battery.

Still working on a mounting solution for the Bussman relay bank. Shameless plug for wiredwagon- this unit is top notch.

More roof rack pics. I'm not getting much Cruiser time now, baby boy was born last week.

He's a future cruiser head though so he'll be wrenching with me in the garage a few months from now.

I decided it was a great day to strip the rust off my rear axle & repaint with black Rustoleum.

New tires this weekend, 295 75-16 Hankook MT's.

Thoughts so far:

Super loud

Great ride

Sling everything

The past couple of weekends I've had the chance to try out the new rubber. Took the cruiser to a local mud park twice and got it pretty dirt. The difference between MT and AT is night & day!

Wife also got to run the winch - her favorite.

Pulled the Rzr to said mud park, toes just fine with the larger & heavier tires. No noticeable difference.

Update:

Been using her as my DD since November when I totaled my wife's car. Sad face. Not a fan of putting useless miles on the MT's

Also had her on 5 road trips to the deer lease in Kingsville & though she drinks a lot of gas, she performed well. Drove smoother than my buddies 2015 wrangler on 35's.

Drum brake job today

Cruiser is running like a champ now, but wifey decided it was time to add some beef to the driveway. She thinks I need 380+ horses and 400+ torque. I agree!

Btw, make sure your intake plumbing is in good shape. Once I put the new intake tubes on, the difference was night & day below 1200 RPM.

Camelback Toyota has a guy named Richie that'll take care of you, he did a great job hooking me up.

Getting the itch again...
