Turboing a 2H is sort of... controversial. I will suggest you look at the DIY 2H turbo threads that are over in the Diesel section. Once you have read over those you should be informed on which turbo if any you would want to go with. Lots of good information in the Diesel Tech section, I would also suggest you post any engine/turbo questions in that forum rather than this one.

hi friends and forum members almost tinkering work completed, now wanted to restore grill and headlights as the truck was custom built please check page 1 of the thread, i have ordered grill, light door and light buckets will reach my hands in a week, please let me know what other things do i need to complete the task, also any replacement head lights for the OEM?

4X4 Crawler body bush with 2 to 3" lift block installed metal work is almost complete, will be starting to sand the old paint and primer before painting works.

That thing is looking really straight now. You should be very proud of saving it from the rusty hell you found it in. Have you decided what color to paint it?

Garrett GT28 with high mount manifold & intercooler.
If you're not going to use an intercooler don't bother turboing the 2h as you'll just end up killing it.

Agree with Crick, nice job saving it. I hope the grill goes back on, easily the best feature. If you go back to stock and don't want it, send it over.

sorry for late reply, as for the color have decided to go with Red. have started to look for GT28 turbo charger in Indian market and will update once done.
(1) GT wheels and Maxxis Big horn 35" on the way.
(2) today started to replace spider gears for rear differential previously bought and kept.
(3) radiator serviced and painted need to install.
(4) fuel pump sent for service and calibration at BOSH service center.
(5) flush out and replace all fluids once again with new fluids
(6) steering box will be opened to service and replace gasket due to oil leak.
(7) remove and fix exhaust line with SS pipe as the existing one totally rusted.
(8) spool up steel rope from warn and install back PTO winch and hook the drive shaft, PTO winch opened up and bearing and gears where replaced previously.
(9) test drive and fix any pending issue all these need to be done in 2 weeks time.
and will start off with priming and painting, not a easy task to restore this monster. a similar red as shown below.

Crick. Esh and Essar bro's need help, can you help me get the part no are exact model noof Garrett GT28 that can be used on Toyota 2H? today i called the Garrett retailer and he is asking for part no are exact model no of GT28 need it urgent.

Sorry mate I don't know the part numbers, the GT28 is probably the most commonly used turbo in existence so I don't know how the retailer could really go wrong.

This website is my local spanner who supplies the kits maybe you could email him and ask, he may even be willing to ship a kit. No harm in asking.

I don't have access to the part number right now but I'm pretty sure Marlin Crawler sells them. Since you have ordered from there before maybe give them a try?
Could they've the same as the Hilux?

Essar have checked Marlin crawler website not found, will mail 4X4 World Australia and see weather they can help me are not, found a few in Ebay too. items that need to be sourced are 1)water pump 2) Accelerator cable 3) brake master and slave booster 4) Bendix for self motor. friends is there metal gasket as a replacement for engine head? as i see all turbo charged diesel engines in newer generation does not come with those paper gasket which we get for Toyota 2H as a OEM.

3 things i need your input
1) What is the best upgrade for for FJ60 brake master cylinder and slave?
2) any upgrade for clutch cylinder available.
3) head gasket any suggestions as mentioned above as metal gasket.

Another step ahead friends, What can i say? easiest, costliest, mightiest whatever it is best part that can make your build turn head's is the shoes she wear as many might not notice the fruitful other parts that she wears inside her. looks like need some fender trimming. that said even this looks too puny, wify says she has a bigger foot same as me.

Don't trim until you give it a flex test. I think they look good for the fender (unless the front is unloaded with no motor?). Sorry, can't help with a 2H, I only know 3Bs and 1HZs.

Some more goodies arrived CT26 turbo charger for my 2H just to give me more headache, now need to fabricate custom down pipe. Is a big step if I succeed wish me luck friends.
