New to Fort Collins...sort of

Greetings Horsetooth Four Wheelers.

My name is Jesse and my LX450 will be moving to Fort Collins this week. I rolled my truck a couple weeks ago outside of Kansas City, MO (where I'm currently stationed in the Army). One of my good buddies graciously offered to let me store my truck at his place in Fort Collins and work on it when I get time over the next year or so. I think I'm going to do a body swap since I don't know much about fixing body work. If any of you are good with body work or have done a project like this I'd love to hear from you.

Welcome!!! Not quite as severe but members Polly Kevin and @SmokingRocks are working on making pollys 4Runner a 4Runner again. Lots of great people in this club and lots of people with resources willing to help! All the photos below are of Pollys rig today from 10 am to 9:30 pm. Unfortunately I won't be moving to Fort Collins. I'm currently stationed at Fort Leavenworth, KS until the summer then not too sure where. My LX will be living at my buddy's house in Fort Collins until it's complete. I'll be making trips out during holidays or as I'm able to take leave.

Oh gotcha! Well if you have time to stop at a meeting or want to do a shakedown run when you get it finished just post up and I'm sure you could get a few members to go with!

Has anybody had any dealings with this guy? His name is Oleg (thick Russian accent) and he has multiple bodies for sale. He also says he can do the body swap for a really reasonable price, almost borderline too good to be true. Just want to make sure I don't commit to something I'll regret later.

I have not but you could try posting on our facebook page, might get more of a response there. I would also try posting in rising suns forum as a lot of their members are in the denver area and may know if those are legit or not but they do look fairly clean!
