Just my curiousity if anyone has bought or been running them. The tread looks like it's toned down from the big brother SS Bogger.

The SS-M16 is highway friendly and very quiet for a tire that has such good off road performance. It is an excellent tire that bridges the gap between the all-terrain and very aggressive off road tires and has a rugged design that will enhance the appearance of any vehicle.

Just want to find out how "very quiet" on the road is? Interesting.

Too bad, they are mostly compatible with big rims (17's or bigger), or at least for now.

Note the M16 bullets on the sidewall?

I would feel obligated to rattle can the whole truck camo to match the aura put off by the sidewall bullets. I like it other than the paramilitary design.

I really dig those tires! Can they do the side walls in .50 caliber?

the tread might be quieter..

the bullets might be cool..

but does it go in the rocks as well as the traditional did?

I like the thread pathern .. but how the gonna feel on road .. I have no doubt that are designed to get a nice off road performance .. but the wear ( more than the noise ) on road are on top of my mind ..

I like everything but the Cheesey bullets. I might try them anyway cause they definately resemble a bogger and supposedly have good road manners. Sounds too good to be true so it probably is.

Just visually looking at the tread, they've done the right things to reduce noise compared to the old Boggers - staggered blocks, less edges at right angle to travel, and more rubber down the center. So quieter would be my expectation but I wonder what it will do in the mud Boggers are known for. Modern rubber compound might make it better in every way, as the old one was kinda long in the tooth.

Yeah, softer tire compund might help reduce road noise. Like most here, I just don't getthe point of M16 bullets on the sidewall. WTF!!

Let's see...southerners...mudding...guns? No, not guns. Ok, maybe guns, too, and maybe sidewall bulllets. Could be linked :hillbilly:

The tread design looks half bogger half Krawler. Will be interested to see if it is good at anything, since Interco says it is supposed to bridge the gap between AT and aggressive offroad tire, which the trxus MT already does. My early vote is "next gen Thornbird".

Maybe it is just the photos, but it appears to have a really shallow tread depth.

You can say that again, say that again.

soon to be in 33 x 10.5 ?

From the website, appears they will offer them in the coveted 33 x 10.50 x 15 !

M16 bullets....cool.....more "BANG" for the buck.......

tBullets on tires. Huh.

The tread looks aggressive.

I'd be worried about the big flat spot between the bullet tip and the tread block. Seems like an invitation to sharp roots/construction debris.

Yes... the tread pattern does look very close to the thornturds..... pricey too..... hmmmm?

Might of made a decent set of trailer tires or tires for one of my old LJ20's. But they would have to be priced well below 100usd each. Otherwise a new set of military nato tires are better in my own opinion.

then again there are always these.... lol
