Great to see more skid options!

@sleeoffroad , any news on front bumper options for the GX?

These look pretty nice! I have the Ironman skids, and while they've been OK, they're not great. Having to remove everything to do an oil change is also a huge pain. I have a few things from you guys, and they've all been top quality, so these may have to replace the Ironman's.

I also saw you have a hood mounted solar kits listed for the 460s. That may also find it's in the cart. Living in Florida, that would work perfect to keep the fridge running and the batteries topped off.

I'm still waiting for that swingout rear bumper though. It's the one major piece I'm missing, and nothing out there currently fits the bill.

I too have always been pleased with the few products purchased from Slee.

Do your plate offer any security for catalytic converter theft prevention? I dont know if the ones offered by lexus/toyota have any more protection than more bolts to remove, as opposed to specific security bolts(ala talonsgarage toyota-4runner-toyota-tacoma-locking-bolts), but I wonder if yours do. I'm in the market for a stem to stern skid plate and it would be nice to have added security feature of CC theft deterent. I guess, I'm asking "other than someone having to remove a lot more bolts, is there any additional security measure".

Also, does installatioin require additional holes, etc, for mounting, or does it install to existing mounting points?

thanks in advance

Generally, unless the cat is completely exposed, most all thief's will move on unless the vehicle is in a very remote location.
Thief's want to be in-n-out (not the burger) as fast as possible from under the vehicle. They won't be carrying a range of wrenches to unbolt anything and cutting the heads of bolts is neither fast nor easy. The only thing they'll have will be a battery powered cutoff grinder and saw.
In short, if you have aftermarket skid plates of any kind covering your exhaust, you should be fine.

Ahhh, Come on Christo! Make them!!! 👍
Also, we, the GX community, REALLLLLY need a second (house) battery mount! And preferably not where you have the compressor is mounted, e.g.: driver side fire wall. I have your compressor mount and love it!
After that, you can start on designs for the GX550's!!!
