Very interesting to see that they are marking the springs for driver and passenger sides. Maybe I can finally have a 40 that doesn't lean!

Also nice to see that they have five different weight options.

If it rides as good as the Pro-Comp lift springs they used before it should be good. With the red bushings, I am curious if they are using the same spring manufacture?

It looks like them to me and the shackle angle looks the same as well.

I have the previous iteration with Pro-Comp springs and Bilstein shocks. It was great when installed and the rig was topless. After I added the hardtop, fridge, tire carrier, etc. I have settled quite a bit, especially on the driver side. I hate to be the guinea pig on anything new but it seems they really put their thinking caps on with this project.

I spoke with them on the phone today. They had a lot of good things to say about the R&D on these, especially with the rear springs set up for weight. I am looking into cost to ship and may have a set on the 40 soon. I bought a set of Dobinson springs and would not put them on due to how short they were in length and what the shackle angle would be.

As the old saying goes, " I could tell you, but I would have to kill you afterwards," so that is of no use...

Our source of manufacturing is confidential and not to be disclosed. I don't think OME will actually disclose their source, nor would Icon Vehicle Dynamics.

But I can confidently tell you that our springs are not made in China, if that is of concern for you. However, at the same time, our spring manufacturer is not producing SkyJacker/Rough Country "budget-type springs. Making money is not our primary goal in this project. We were previously using springs from our original kit, which were available at retail; however, the company has discontinued making springs for FJ40 Land Cruisers. We liked the ride quality of that brand over all others available on the market, and with them discontinuing springs for FJ40's, we didn't want to just "conform to stiff!" and we are not quitting on FJ40s! So we set out to make what we were previously getting. But what we came away with is so much more!

Our level of compliance (ride quality) is unlike anything available on the market! Our springs are specifically designed for the FJ40 Land Cruiser. No "... and also fits" or "will also work for" these springs are made 100% for FJ40s! It's what took us so long to develop this new spring package vs just copying what we were using from someone else. We've already logged a couple of thousand miles on these springs during our testing phase. It's part of why we said, "This system sets a new performance and ride quality standard, delivering an unmatched on/off-road experience. If you wish to “pre-test” this exceptional FJ40 ride quality, fly or drive into Colorado Springs, Colorado (COS). We will provide airport pickup and a tour of our facility. Please give us a call and arrange details: 719.638.2003

So, when shall we pick you up?
😎

I am waiting to pull the trigger. I have sent you a few emails with some specific questions. If you will, please respond so we can get this going. I am hoping to have them on before Solid Axle Summit. I put 500 miles on my 40 there last year and plan to do it again, it will be a good test of your product over the old mining roads, plus regular road miles... I hope to have smiles per mile!

Thanks
Rob
