Nope, just need the extra practicality of the big booty, plus I'm too darn cheap to find a quality 40.

40 haters. All of you.

we are a dying breed my friend...... besides it takes a real man to drive a 40, some people just can't handle it:hillbilly:

adjusting aisin carbs sucks...

 Damn throttle linkage, who in the hell thought that rod linkage was a good idea

lol been there before!!

is that WNC cruisers place? hes all over mud and craigs snatching up cruisers and managing to resale for prices only a dealer could get.

Yeah F that guy.... He bought Alex's bj70 for 7 or 8k, installed the ARB that came in the deal and tried to turn around and sell it for 15-16k.... wouldn't budge on the price at all even for a mud member that new what he bought it for oh well :meh:

Thanks Al, if the dirtbag who did the US spec ones hadn't done the rod accelerator assembly i'd be alot happier, but hey that is what ACC is for right!!! It's only money, just throw it at the truck and it'll get better i'm sure.... Somebody has had to have said that at some point about these things...

x2 that guy is a bastard.

Damn, if i would have known thats what Alex sold his 70 for, it would be in greenville.

Jay,

Go 2fe.

Did you get that PCV valve connected

Yep, and the newer non "modified" carb on as well. It has to be in those stupid linkages as to why it wants to idle at 3000 rpm, yet when I pull the accelerator pedal back with my foot it goes down, and dies. Might look more into it today if it stops raining.

On the carb, the only vac line that has to be connected at the base is the one going to the dizzy right? I capped all the rest, I did leave the one with the one way valve inline connected... I don't know how anyone deciphers those desmog pics...

If I decide to go diesel I may have a great running 3FE with a turbo set up to sell ya :grinpimp:

Hmm Turbo setup on a 3fe. What are you using for exhaust manifolds?

Its a secret :p

Stock manifolds.... but am going to port a bit, custom down pipe for turbo.... actually a very simple set up that was designed for a 60 series engine bay. It was going to be a winter project, and most likely still will be but i'm not beyond ripping the engine and set up out of the truck to go diesel.

HMMM that sounds neat Al, you just let me know if you decide to rid yourself of that thing...
