Fiddled around with it some more today. Idle is a tad high still (~800s). But I can live with it.
Bb is on the mark at 10*. Runs smooth, didn’t die, seems to ‘miss’ less as well. Just in time to put it away for winter

Also, I did get a vacuum gauge but the hose it came with (1/4”) was too big or too small to fit the ports on the carb. I didn’t think to stop and get different size hose. I sprayed some carb cleaner around the carb, tightened the vacuum pod thing on the carburetor and some of the top screws based on feedback from the tach where I was spraying. It seemed to help some.
I just realized driving it right now that I had left the choke a tad bit out last time now when I push it in, it runs fine but won’t idle again. Guess I’ll pull it out a little for the drive home.
