Would essentially be like this:
Anybody see any reason this wouldn’t work the same? Rain gutter an issue?

I could probably swing over there for you on Saturday around noon if they’re around. Let me know.

I’ve been getting in touch with GOBI about building a rear hatch ladder like the 80 series. They are open to the idea but ultimately need a 60 for fitting. They are located in Aurora, CO. Still awaiting a timeline on this but would any Denver area 60 owners be willing to help??
Hey man I’ve got a 60 with a gobi ranger on it. Live in Denver. Would be happy to help. I’m moving Halloween weekend but mostly available otherwise.

I used to use a home made ladder that hooked over the roof rack but I found I didn't need it.
Stand on the tailgate to get stuff off the back of the roof rack. Stck a pad of 3M anti skid on the passenger inside wheel arch to act as a step there.
The way I got up on the roof rack (for 25 years) was use the top of the rear rear tire as the first step and the window sill of the open window of the closed passenger door as the second step. Can also step on the window sill of the open window/closed front doors too. They're very strong - if you need to get something in the middle of the rack.
I never missed the ladder and never felt the need to get one. It's just extra unecessary clutter and weight

For getting onto a rack that’s fine but getting into a rear-access RTT calls for a ladder :)

Definitely if rear access . I slept up on my roof rack (plywood floor) for many months camping on long trips. Could erect a one man tent up there when the weather or bugs seemed to deem it necessary and my tent was side access- so ii clambered off the side of the truck in the morning. Didn't need a ladder.

I’d bring a little step ladder long before I’d mount some silly looking RV ladder to the tailgate.

awesome thanks! I need to send pics first then I will be in touch when I have a timeline. I imagine they just need a day to mock it up. I appreciate any help and will definitely buy beers or whatever your vice is for your time!

This rear ladder will help me considerably for my application. I need an easy way to get down at night. Telescoping ladder is nice but needs to go somewhere inside which is more space. @LandCruiserPhil 80 has the same Campteq setup and he has obviously found the same utility in the ladder I hope for. A spare would obviously be just as easy but I never liked the rear swingouts, again just me. I like the look of it as well. Doesn’t look like a “RV” ladder as they make these for all their racks. But yeah, thanks for any help or insight from the masses, hope we can get one put together!

Did this kinda die?

I have a 60 series currently being retrofitted and will have an ARB long roof rack, will be very interested if there is a ladder that can attach to the rear of that rack and to the top half of the tailgate. I am in the Aerial Adventure Park, Geof, Treehouse, Zipline business and this would tremendously aid in being able to get access to tie down things on the roof.

Yeah man. I still need one. It would help my situation out incredibly as well. I wish I could just drop my 60 off there for a bit and get this done
