ROFLMAO.....Culture vs Agriculture
Do you want me to c&p Tater Tech's long and glorious history
of cheating? Dang weren't the Cow College boys just on
probation for recruiting violations? Summer jobs...ie $$$
paying recruits.
USC cheated. We'll accept the costs. I'm glad our house is getting cleaned
and embarressed for the school. Dang hiring tutors for kids is so
wrong. Having a reporter show up when a kid is being recruited.
What were they thinking. :flipoff2:
Get off your high horse. I was a D.A. in Danny Boy's years.
Geeez......CU and cheating....a way of life.
Get your facts straight before you spout off and namecall.
Those in glass houses should be VERY careful throwing stones.

Sorry about the high jack Tad. They just don't know better.
What do you expect.....they go to Clempson.

Our Future Jobs

HAHAHA damn you people crack me up. Hey I got a damn good idea  ....we create the Upstate Building Cruisers...Tad will survey the land for the subdivision that David did the title search on, JP will design the houses, I'll do all the blue print reading and take off the material you draw up JP, and Alan can build them all, then Marshall can get his realators license and sell them to people. I say Marshall cause he amazes me at the things he does. Pig cookin, trout fishin, rebuildin tranny's, makin seat covers..is there anything he can't do? Then we could all take off for the week of Tellico and when ever we wanted to go out cruisin, we could even take a few weeks off and do a MOAB trip....Any body else like this idea?

:bounce:  :bounce:

I like that idea Chuck but your missing someone a Planner the person that actually designs the layout architects dont really do that any more. Mostly because they arent as good at it as LA's. Good thing I'm getting my masters in city and regional planning.

I wasnt talking junk David (thats what this post is for) there might not be a program in this country that hasnt done that BS I just wanted to point out the most recent event. USC will be lucky if they can field a team the way things are going all they've done since Spurrier got there is suspend players, admit to violations, and show everyone in there country their new offense on espn, which they cant effectively run since they kicked their running back and qb off the team. Go Gamecocks.
On the serious side though did you hear USC is building a new stadium....
Its right next to the county jail so they will be able to field a team.
Ok thats all my shamecock bashing for now I'll save it for Nov. 19 in Clemson Memorial Stadium #2 aka Williams Bryce.

You guys are crackin' me up; like I give a crap if my thread gets hijacked. :flipoff2:

Oh, and I think Lou Holtz owes USC a public apology btw.

No pics of the 100 in the mud. I got home too late so hopefully I'll get to go play tomorrow.

On another random note, damn the Red Sox v Yankees game is good right now!!!

tabraha, where are you in Newberry county? I grew up in Newberry and live in Kinards for about 5 years as well. We were on lake Murry for 1 year when I was young too. Justy curious.

Wood is good and thats a concrete fact! Indian Proverb

Sounds like a good team is developing here. JP slays them and the rest of us clean and fry....Marshall's fish that is. You didn't think I was talking about our clients did you? ;)

JP you have a job anytime. I admire any man getting a architectural degree and wanting some on the job experience. Sort of finding out how the other half works. Putting theory into practice. As for Capt. Jim, he and I may build some together one day. That's an interesting thought. I can't see us as competitors. For one thing neither of us knows what that word means!

Asheville is a target rich environment for building. So is Hendersonville. All of you are invited to my jobsite anytime.

Saw Alan's current project last week. Let me just say that myself, and my toughest critic, my wife Madeleine, were duly impressed. I think Alan has this building thing dialed in. Top notch quality and attention to detail. And a clean Jobsite. Truly a professional and one who could teach you a lot.

Nice job, Alan.

good lines

Hard40's father built our place, Point-o-view, back about 1960.
It's still going strong. We bought this place thinking we would
raze the house and build a new house here. LOL....no need.
It's soooo solid and thought out we just fell in love with it and haven't
changed what was an excellent design.
I think Alan comes by this talent via DNA.
Nice guy too.
I've seen Capt'n Jim's work too.
A guy would be hard pressed to beat those two.

Hey Tad, ya'll gonna put a pier/dock on the pond?

5 miles outside of Prosperity towards the lake. In the aptly named "Stoney Hill" section.

David we are gonna do a walk out with around a 20x20 dock at the end.

Like Dan Ackroyd said in " Driving Miss Daisey" I think that age has given me a distinction that I truly do not deserve. Jim you are too kind. Thank You.

Pond update: The 100 is stuck in it  So far the tractor has not been able to pull it out. It's stuck all the way to the frame :) I'm patiently waiting for it to dry out; and praying for no rain!!!

Yesterday I was king of the world; went anywhere I wanted. Today, I'm a goat. I believe the 3/4" of rain last night had something to do with it.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted! I'm hoping it doesn't rain tonight. I can't get hold of a winch until tomorrow!

man that is some nasty looking goop........reminds me of some of the spots on the Mnt. Estates trail.

Your are a brave man Tad taking that pretty 100 through that crap, I don't know if I'd even take my 40 through that stuff. Mud gets into everything............Ih8mud!!!!!!!!

Nice pics though........

Reminds me of what Sonny Corleone said to his brother Michael upon seeing his broken jaw...Be-ut-ti-ful. Hey Tad sorry, looks like it's sitting on the frame. But you know nothing risked nothing gained.
Upstate Cruisers is proud of you for the attempt!

Walk in to tractor supply tonight for a longer tow strap and what do I see? A 48" hi-lift staring at me! :D

Wish they had a 60" but I'll take what I can get. $55 for a "Hi-lift" brand jack sounds pretty decent! Tractor Supply used to only have the generic lifts so I was shocked when I walked in tonight. Hopefully I'll get it out tomorrow if it dries up. Also bought a 27,000# snatch strap too. My strap was 18,000 and didn't look too hot when I was yanking with the Taco and Tractor. I have already busted one of the 18,000 straps with this fiasco: https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=40874

Trying to get the 100 out of there was like trying to move a sherman tank!

Wow Tad I wouldnt expect anyone to try and run through that mud, even me and my pig likes the mud. Good luck getting it out it looks like youll have a handful doing that.
