I thought somebody at the tacoma take over asked the toyota reps about a removable hardtop and they said there's no plans for one. Also, looking at the picture of the side of the interior (the one showing the suicide doors open) and pictures showing the exterior side, I just don't see where they can cut the roof off. Where would the seams go?

What does the TRAC button do? Disable TRAC? If so that is the best button evar.

from what I just read in Motor Trend, the 2x4 version will have a limited slip, the 4x4 will have traction controll..........betting no locker

electronic four-wheel traction control (on 4WD models only), running boards, rear sonar backup
assist, front seat-mounted side airbags and front- and rear-side curtain airbags, daytime running
lights, power outside mirror with image lights, cruise control, AM/FM CD audio with a six-disc
changer, equalizer and eight speakers, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, multiinformation
display, exterior color door insert panels, privacy glass, and rear wiper.


Unless they changed their mind, there is a rear diff lock as an added option.

Interesting... the truck looks kinda... plasticy and they definately need 32-33''s.....

The black part is the gas tank skid. it wraps all around it up the sides
The t-case skid is mounted directly to the t-case. more like a "brushguard".
