I have never replaced the wire, if the crimps are checked/tightened/soldered before damage is done, the wire is fine.
You have to change the wire. But you must never mention it. You have to let people ask about it. Oh, and you need a refrigerator.

snorkel and a RTT
Snorkel gives you extreme expedition status.
And a RTT, without a RRT, you are not all of that, no bag of chips.![]()

A wiffle ball bat and exploration stickers?
I have an axe and a CSC sticker, good?
...so I need a wiffle ball bat and exploration stickers?
The wire needed is going to depend on actual, running amp draw and length. What works on the MV50 is irrelevant. A few in the club have amp meters, maybe one can arrive at Cottonwood or the Sonic meet to get real running numbers?
The biggest issue I have seen on the MV50s is the connector crimps. They are sometimes not crimped tight, so the poor connection causes heating, melting of insulation/fuse holder/etc. I have never replaced the wire, if the crimps are checked/tightened/soldered before damage is done, the wire is fine.
