Hi all... New Member Intro post incoming... Just picked up my Trail Dust 2025 Land Cruiser two weeks ago and I'm loving it! Only addition right now is a Triple-color TRD grill badge. Currently eyeing the CBI Off-road rock sliders, a set of TRD Pro Wheels and some more aggressive tires than the Michelin LTX tires that came on the factory 18's. I'm going to do a search after this... but since I'm posting the intro thread anyway... is anyone running the Toyo Open Country AT3 EV tires? Specifically the EV version of the AT3s.

I honestly miss my Michelin LTX tires. Had them on my 200 and went to a BFG a/t a few years ago

Have to ask the obvious... why the EV version of the A/T III?
Only because they weigh so much less than the non EV version. 53lbs vs 43lbs in 275/70/18.

Looking to save as much of the MPGs and ride characteristics/performance as possible. In a 275/70/18 the Nitto Ridge Grapplers (my first choice) weigh 21 lbs more each than the Michelin LTX Trails. I'm guessing that will have a significant impact on the hybrid LC250's performance. I could shed a few MPGs, but don't want the truck to feel sluggish. The Toyo OC AT3 EV's are the lightest option at only 43 lbs each (just a 5 lbs increase from the Michelin's).

Welcome to Mud!

You might have bought your Trail Dust LC on the same day we bought ours!

Check out the General Grabber A/TX, I went with that in 275/70/18 SL load rating. According to their website they weigh 45.5lbs

Also, welcome fellow Floridian - hope to explore the Keys someday!

Are you happy with the General Grabbers? I'd never heard of that brand until coming across it on a list of tires people are running on the LC250.

Can't speak to off road performance, but I am pleased with them. Rides quiet and smooth

Welcome!
