Where are you guys finding these trailers for so cheap? I'm in PA, willing to travel for the right one.

First Tow

As most know this trailer was built for hauling and not for camping, at least not yet. So my first tow , 26 bags of mulch in the trailer and 10 in the truck and it towed great. The 55 has air shocks and I should have bumped up the pressure so it was level with the trailer, with the trailer loaded and a few more in the truck the tongue was about 1 1/2 inches below
level.
This spring the plan is to have a lid fabbed and add a front storage box . Here's a few pic's

Nice!

Great build :wrench:. I'm getting ready to start my rebuild. I curious on how you connected the bed of the trailer to the tailgate frame. Any pictures of the bed to frame welds to give me a better direction to take:hmm:? Also, what is the axel dimensions (hub to hub, length, ETC.) Sorry if you already posted this. I'm wanting to add a tailgate to my M416 and add a simular lug pattern hu and axel to match my 40.

Thanks

Sorry, "Axle"

I'm not sure I understand (the bed of the trialer to the tailgate frame). I would have to say hinges are welded to the rear trailer frame and also to tailgate frame. You would have to call Cam at IPOR for axle spec's, I do know it's 5200lb axle.
Not sure if that answers your question.

Sorry for the questions, I'm looking to see how the bed and walls of the trailer box are connected to the new tailgate frame. Does the trailer bed overlap the new frame? Is it welded, screwed, or riveted? If you have pictures that show a close-up of the inside of the frame to bed/wall, i might be able to see what you've done. I'm sorry for harrassment, you really have great built up trailer.

I'll PM you with a photo and the area i'm interested in.

Thanks again!

M416 build

Not sure if the last message got through???
Here is the area that I'm interesed in seeing how the attachment to the new frame was made.

Your link does not work, have you looked at all the pictures in my thread? The frame under the trailer box is the stock , there are two tabs on the box that overlap the frame on the sides near the front corners. the other attachments are on the underside of the box and was bolted to the frame and these are stock attachment points on the 416. The only part of the frame thats not stock are the extended draw arms and I talk about that in a earlier post.
