I can do that for MUD.

For member rigs, maybe a pic and short write up about the rig?

If everyone wants to send me this I can post it. Send these to MattVitelli@gmail.com

If someone want to do a write up on the group and what we hope for it to be I can create the About Us page, at some point we need a badass shot of all the member rigs or at least some or one of each different model?

What other pages should there be on the site? Currently here are my thoughts on the site map...

Thanks.

thanks, Matt.
I will look through my pics and see which one(s) to post
also have some for the gallery.

Hey guys, take a look at the member rigs portion of the site and let me know what you think.... I just winged it but I think it looks ok.

I figured we can feature one model of each cruiser we have vs putting every single cruiser we have. We can rotate them out quarterly or something if we get to the point were we are that big.

Let me know what you think....oh and if you touch or click the thumbnails it will take you to the bio page for the owner.

Have I mentioned lately that YOU, sir, are the man? This looks really good! I feel unworthy of having my vehicles on it!

Thanks guys! Glad to help!

Awesome. Tried to send my info for updates but it won't let me register. Glad to see things clicking along.

Thanks for letting us know. I'm guessing you were viewing the page via mobile? I've made a change that should have fixed the SUBMIT button being grayed out. Like us on FB too if you are on there.

Thanks,

Thanks Scott!

IMHO, I think an email matching our domain name looks more professional. It doesn't have to be info or we can keep info an add others like events@ membership@ or admin@.

Is the rocketmail address posted anywhere? Right now I have the info@lowcountrylandcruisers.com posted on the site along with the form submissions going to it as well.

Double check the e-mail address, a typo might lead to a lot of confusion.

I don't know, add a "T" and it might fit...
We could be lost ..
I'm sure its a typo.

Fixed it for you.

Hey Guys,

Yesterday i mentioned that i have been considering redoing the entire website from the ground up. Well, i spent some time yesterday doing this after the i left the HAMOM. Its is very rough and under construction but take a look, you should be able to get a general feel for what I'm going towards. I'm trying to make it look similar to the other site. I need to work on the heading logo some i think but functionality is there. Updating and endless features are also there. Added bonus, by switching this site to a Wordpress site it should be a lot cheaper than what it is currently running me. Some cool features will be if anyone wants to write up articles on anything we can create everyone accounts and they can write articles and submit it for approval to the admin(s) (currently me) to review before posting it on the page. So in the future maybe we can have a How-To area or if someone wants to write up a summary of an event or meeting they can do this as well. I don't have a problem doing this since i enjoy it but i just want everyone to know they will have the option to participate in website content as much as they want. The site will essentially be a blog, but I'm trying to make it so it doesn't look like one.

For now here is the URL:
b8b.804.myftpupload.com

Once it gets to a comfortable place with design and completion i will make the cut over to the and the other site will be gone.

As always, let me know your thoughts with this.

Cheers,
TailsWCU

looks good, but a quick suggestion Matt- maybe throw some links back to the ih8mud site also.....youve got a talent I'd be willing to pay for to fix my company webiste (seriously, PM me) but I might not check the LCLC website as often as i do mud.... a couple of links might help others find us on mud also....

keep up the work and I'll try to check and post to both..

Erik,

Thanks for the kind words. Depending on how complex your companies site is I could possibly take it on. I have built a couple others. We can take that discussion offline if you want just PM me.

Appreciate the feedback as well. I will make it known in the home page that mud is where a lot of the fun takes place. For now there is a link to mud at the top right.

I have already put the switch in for the domain names. Currently you can access the old site at old.lowcountrylandcruisers.com.

The new one will be cutting over shortly so don't freak out if anyone tries to go to it and it's down.

I have a great review of the HAMOM that was written by Jeremy that I will be posting also I have collected all the pics. I discussed this with Jeremy and we thought it might be cool for members to take turns typing write ups for events and hamoms, they can submit them to me and I can make sure they get posted correctly. Also a secretary type position that keeps notes for the meetings we can keep record of them on the site as meeting minutes.

Keep the ball rolling!

Cheers,
TailsWCU

I love the new website, Matt.
The menu at the top is great. Can that also be a drop down??

thanks for the write up, Jeremy, but for the record I did wrench on the pig...I adjusted the clutch.

David, thanks man, i think this is the right path forward!!!

Absolutely! I just need to come up with more pages to populate the drop downs, right now if you hover over membership you can see the registration form. Working on getting a RSS feed of the mud forum on the site. This would basically be a live feed of our clubhouse on the site. Not sure if there is a tighter way to integrate both....pretty cool. Still looking into it though.

I do think a How-To section would be great on the site as well. We can write up articles on how to do certain things to cruisers or camping or wheeling or whatever. The site could turn into a knowledge base for the club and any visitors. Clearly MUD is one of the main one not trying to replace it. However, there is a search at the bottom left of the site that will pull up ALL results from the site, its pretty slick even though we don't have a bunch of content yet.

Keep in mind, in my eyes it is still very rough but its heading in the right direction for sure!
