Matt (tailsWNC) is working on our new website.
Lets get some ideas of what we want it to look like.
He has a great start already, and it looks good.

It's looking better gents!!!

I would also like the create a new Facebook Page and link it to the site, we can push updates and photos to both the site and page at the same time. The current FB account is a personal account not a page/organization.

Just say the word and I'll get started on that as well... It's the best way have a FB presence. I can add certain members as admins if we want to do that. Lots more flexibility than a personal account. I think we can even make the page public so you don't have to sign into FB to see it. Would have to check though.

FYI I took out the Upstate Cruisers that was in the logo, If you have a new one post it in here.

No worries guys. Just hope you like the product!

Looks good, go ahead w the FB page also, public would be great.

x3 on the FB page

Guys we are officially live....

www.LowCountryLandCruisers.com. And yes Mobile works ;)

Under construction of course ;). Linking FB page to the site, it's live as well. Give it a like share it and add me on FB.

Somebody owns LowCountryLandCruisers@gmail.com. I'm sending an email to see who's it is. I would recommend to use this account going forward unless anyone has objections. We can still monitor the old email.

This will be a good idea because we can add the Gmail Calendar right to the website. Whenever we want to update our events we just need access to gmail. You can even add an event on your phone and it will update it on the site. This is key for whoever is managing the events.

Whoever has access to the email can add/change/edit events. There may be away to assign accounts to allow access to the calendar only though. Just trying to think ahead on how everything should work.

I'm currently doing some late night maintenance for work so I've been working on this and the site while waiting on things to update/transfer. Getting a lot done!

Hey guys. Please check out the site now.... This will be the look and feel going forward unless someone wants to give me some direction or ideas. I think it works well for now. I have several plans for additional pages. Let me know what you think, share the site and facebook page if you have a sec so we can get some traffic and followers.

Thanks,

I have also been in touch with Woody...our Forum will change to
"SC-Low Country Land Cruisers" on mud, so if you can't access this page, go to clubhouses and it should be changed on there.

Sweet. I will add a link to the forum on mud.

Also,
If you go to the website there is a list of events. These link you to the FB page which is public so you don't actually have to login to see the events.

I plan on adding a calendar type view on a separate page as well.

Please if you have any additional ideas please post them here other wise I'm just going to put some stuff together.

Made a couple changes....to simplify things I switched the events on the website to an embedded google calendar that I have linked to a hidden gmail address (temp until we get the permanent address, whatever that is). I'm happy to admin any changes for events as needed. I can also share the calendar with anyone with a GMAIL email so people can have it sync'd on their phones automatically (pretty sweet). So you basically have the list of events pushed out to your calendar on your phone automatically, changes as well. If you don't have a gmail address you will need one to get this feature.

Anyways, here are some screen shots of the mobile version that can be accessed here..... www.lowcountrylandcruisers.com

For some reason it doubled the spring tide ride on some days, not sure what the bug is there.

Website looks great and I agree with Facebook page. Next up is building membership and that part is easy when the groundwork has been laid. Awesome work Matt.
