I'll trade you 2 3FE's for that motor.:D

Those pics dont make that rig any justice...the work you did on the front suspension and how it buttons up to the brace on that engine is really nice and clean.... and building a roll cage just you could use them twitters is a GREAT reason to have it built !!!

Dude, that's one sick roll cage you have built. How did you get it in the rig? Very nice....and welcome amigo!:wrench:

Octavio, you need to post details on your custom coiled from suspension. People in the hardcore thread will be very interested. People like to take 80’s e-locker axles and throw them under 60’s. Look forward to wheeling around that monster hopefully next month.

Gracias hombre, I got in the rig by building it in pieces and sleeved it welded in the truck once it was all tacked up. It took about 3 days to make and weld and paint, another 2 days to put the interior in.

Yeah as soon as I get a better camera and time I will do some show and tell. Right now working on a 6.0 engine swap for a wagoneer. And see you on the trails. I will go to the tinbenders this 25th maybe see you there.

New Bumper for the 62

In the past months I managed to open a shop and relocate from my house. With all the work tending to customer rigs the 62 has been neglected. With some time available to me I decided to build a bumper out of .25" steel plate.

First rate fab bro.....I love the coilovers :D

I am thinking that I will add more flex to the front. Thinking of what to do so I can have DD and Off Road balance.

Excellent bumper! Very stout.

So what's this business you've opened up?

Opened a 4x4 repair, fabrication, welding shop, quit my job and feel like I am free. Planning to make a few parts to sell also.

Sick. Octavio is such a sleeper, throws together bad A rig and barely ever posts. Yet I somehow I find a way to throw out irrelevant posts all day while my rig sits with a flat in the garage.

Anyways, I like how different your rig is, too many 60's follow the same path (sweet ass trail proven paths) but its great to see something different, well thought out and clean that works. Plus you did it with a 62 which seems to get little love around here. I look forward to the diesel build.

.My love for the 62 is the power windows, power locks ,square lights, and Auto Trans. Sleeper is right, with 400 HP under the hood, and quiet as a prius, not!

Absolutely. I always love seeing a totally unique rig. I only wish I had the fabrication skills you do!

Nice fab work man!

Got anymore pics and info on the 4-link up front? Like what all you used and such? Im considering this with f250 coils...
