What's missing here, inner door latch

Door wouldn't open from the outside and this lever was off and hanging. What goes on the end to keep it on? Tried searching some diagrams and didn't see anything

there's a little cir-clip or e-clip or something similar that slip around that shoulder. It might be in the bottom of your door.

It's just a little plastic bushing. Any auto parts store will have a package of 10 for $5
