Remember we voted to try a new experiment and let Kilroys feed us all with a burger bar and pitchers of beer/alternate beverages. Our hope is to make the ordering and bill settling a lot smoother and also allow a lot more efficient meeting time wise. I think we will also save a decent amount per person vs what we spend individually typically. I will call and set it up projecting 20-25 people. Our meetings are getting too big lately and this should help a lot. Keep in mind that the tab will be settled equally by everyone. There will be no other way to do it. If you drink iced tea vs Beer, don't expect a few dollars off. Hopefully everyone saves across the board anyway. We'll see how it goes and vote to do this format moving forward if it works well and we'll mix up their main course menu at successive meetings.

Yeah Jeff, good call, that format should work out well for everyone.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend this month's meeting.
I'll be curious to hear how you guys liked the dining situation.

Food format is set up for tomorrow. At first they wanted to move us to the outside patio and serve us with an all you can eat burger and chicken tender bar. I vetoed that to keep our table, and they also indicated burgers would be kidsize, but all you can eat. I stood ground that we wanted the menu burger. I got us the Monday night $6 burger special for all of us. It will be exactly the menu burger with Fries or chips. They will take a head count at 7:30 when we sit down and fire up burgers with all the toppings options and start bringing pitchers a la cart. This should be a huge savings as we are only paying $6/person for burgers plus pitchers of drinks divided equally.

We could all eat under your truck...

This is a great idea. How did it turn out for you? Haven't been to Kilroy's since the early 90's!

It worked out well. We had plenty of pitchers of good beer and it cost everyone something like $13.75 for a burger, fries and beer or soda.
