Just stumbled across this today. For my 1970 F non-USA Cruiser down here in Ecuador I have the Aisin 1 barrel carb. I bought a 2 barrel intake on Ebay and had it sent to Seattle along with a new Man-A-Fre header for ceramic coating. I will pick them up in October when I travel for my daughters wedding. So of course I have been looking for a carburetor. My mechanic prefers the Aisin over a Weber, but I'm not sure why and there is a language barrier

Regardless I was looking at the Weber 32/36 with the one piece lower spacer and the adapter for the stock air cleaner. It sounds like with your carburetor I don't need to worry about anything other than the lower spacer which is probably different. Since I live at 8,000 ft my question is with regards to jetting, availability of parts, are there other manufacturers jets who fit, etc. I took advantage of the offer MAF had of a new aftermarket distributor along with the header. Even if I upgrade to a 2F motor later this year I would still stick with simplicity.
