FWIW I was using Turo to rent our spare vehicle, and a lady got in 2 fender benders in 2 days while using it dinging up both the front and rear bumpers. I used the Turo insurance coverage, and I told the body shop owner I wanted only OEM parts to be used. She showed me that aftermarket would have only saved about $100 to fully replace front and rear bumpers with all associated hardware and stuff, and that her labor costs might actually eat up the savings if it didn't fit right. She told the insurance company that and it was easy to get them to cover OEM parts. Back in the day I remember I had an XJ that I needed to replace a fender, and from the dealer it was something like $500 and an aftermarket one was $40. I was paying out of pocket and was in college, so I obviously bought the cheaper one. Nowadays it seems like the gap in cost between aftermarket and OEM has shrunk to the point it doesn't make a lot of sense to go aftermarket.

That looks nice, but it looks like you lose your headlight washers and parking sensors.

I would have to lose the washers, yes (have never used, literally not once so no big deal.

Parking sensors i would have to relocate (drill) myself, yes.

Yup, used a hole saw on mine for the sensors and the factory harness has enough slack to move them as needed. You can also use the factory fog light harness to run a set of lights which I did, again lots of slack. You will need a plug for the washer line as it will leak all of your fluid out when you disconnect it. In your case something permanent if you plan not to re-install the system.

Good to know. I may have some questions about relocating the sensors and using the factory fog harness when the time comes. I definitely think she needs them, she obviously likes to hit things :(

The headlight washer provision in the bumper is nothing more than a rectangle square cut out to snap the washer into. If you really wanted to retain it, a dremel is all you need.

Very interested in the answer!
Fitment confirmed.

Our 2008-11 stainless loop bumper requires reusing the original bumper cover, and trimming it to fit.
Our 2012-15 stainless loop bumper was designed for the facelift models and also to work on the prior models to reduce the amount of part numbers. It includes the trim pieces so that an original bumper cover is not required.

We have both in stock

Just wasted 20 mins on the phone with TJM USA.

They couldn't give product data or pricing. Just 'we will have stock in 30-45 days' on both T3 and T13 and we will call you. Took my number but not my name or any other info.

Summit Racing no longer carries TJM apparently.

Actually, that is exactly how it started with mine.

Because their distribution system here basically sucks, it is a process of patience and repeated phone calls to get the product. Totally can understand not wanting to play the game, but glad I did as I REALLY like mine. But be ready to call every 30 days, receive an excuse each time, until he finally calls you and says he has one and asks if you still want it. I really think that the guy, can't remember his name, means well but doesn't have real control over when the stuff gets put on the crate and shipped.

Good luck.

Here is the update on the CBI bumper.

Yes they have a bumper for the 200, but it is not in "production mode" yet. What that means is, you have to get your truck to Idaho Falls for them to fit it to your truck. They did not quote me a price, but did send some photos.
I really like the look of their bumper, maybe minus the hoops.

Been looking around a bit since my wife scratched up our front bumper last year and it's tax refund time.

I emailed CBI this week out of curiosity and they said they didn't have a 200-series bumper in the works but would be happy to do something custom if I dropped off my truck. Too bad.

I wish Proline would add a hoop like that (minus the hi-lift mount). I do like the lower profile front bumpers, but am resigned to something more like ARB/IronMan/Dobinson/etc are making (no offense to those guys, their bumpers look great, I'd just prefer a shorter bumper).

Call Proline. I know they can make whatever you want, as long as they have the machinery and tools to make/bend the steel the way you want it. They do it all the time for local guys that leave their trucks with them.

I know they can't make tubes like on our bumpers. We had them make us our Tacoma and 4Runner bumpers, but without top tubes.

Hey @ntsaint you're in Louisiana correct? Maybe contact Southern Style Offroad if you like what you see and ask if they'll create something for you (selfishly would love to see what they could come up w/ for a 200).

Yes. He was my first call. Not in the cards for them right now.

Did @benc ever come up eith a bumper for the 200? I inow he was all over the idea at one time

I sent them an email and will follow up with a phone call later this week if they don't reply.

I'd look into the completely custom route but I'm not sure where to start looking around me. Anyone know any reputable shops in the Chicago area?

My plan was to purchase a 200 for r&d but due to the current demand I ended up with a 2016 tacoma.
I would still like to develope a front bumper to start for the 200 I just need someone willing to leave me or be willing to bring me their 200 off and on for a few weeks. I do have a local lx570 who is willing but would need a landcruiser as well for final fit.
I will most likely not do a full replacement bumper as I have found it near impossible to do a full replacement production bumper and have the lines match up without having bumper to body contact issues.
If any one is willing pm me, I'm located in northern ca.

Thanks.
Ben.
