Here is the update on the CBI bumper.

Yes they have a bumper for the 200, but it is not in "production mode" yet. What that means is, you have to get your truck to Idaho Falls for them to fit it to your truck. They did not quote me a price, but did send some photos.
I really like the look of their bumper, maybe minus the hoops.

Funny you don't like the hoops...because I was thinking, "I wish the bull bars seemed a bit stronger..."

I love how they incorporate the light bar. Lights way down low like that really let you see the contour of the dirt. Sometimes lights up above your head can flatten the perception of bumps, and that's not helpful. Lower mounts work well on mountain bikes too for high-speed night rides. I like it. Curious about the strength of the bars though...and price. That's probably an $800 light bar, too.

Bump on this thread...my wife mashed the front bumper on my 200 last night. Time for an aftermarket bumper.

PROBLEM IS....my factory bumper is toast. So that rules out anything that requires cutting an existing factory bumper for trim purposes.

Has anyone here actually installed the VPR or the Proline? Those don't use factory bumper and are my only options i think.

I dont think you need any of your factory bumper for a Dobinson bumper either as it comes with plastic wings that fill the gap. It is more of a traditional look though.

edit: evidently earlier LC do still need a bumper cut for the dobinson. my apologies for the confusion.

All of their bumper options call for a bumper cut, according to their website.

I believe a VPR front and rear bumper setup was installed recently by a 200 owner.

Cool. Are you happy with yours?

Yes am very happy with mine. The bumper is quite solid and well constructed especially for the price point and Mike was very easy to deal with and provided great customer service. I ended up not using some of the supplied lights as I preferred my own but did not buy it for the lights. Install was even pretty easy aside from cutting my bumper which on LC you would not need to do. I did need to drill holes for the parking sensors so if you do have them make sure you ask if they offer one with holes pre-drilled.

Would you mind shooting me a PM with what you paid?

I think he had posted the prices publicly a couple of time but I believe their regular bull bar is 1000 and the deluxe and stainless one like mine are 1100.

TJM T13 requires no bumper cutting. Full replacement.

Hey guys, I'm just waiting on some clarification on fitment by part number. The 2012+ bumper we have doesn't need a factory bumper in place, and requires no cutting (comes with filler panels like the pic above), but @ntsaint has a 2011. The older 08-11 specific bumper does need a bumper cover and it gets trimmed. I've just asked if the newer one can fit onto the older models to avoid needing the OE bumper cover. I think they told me a while back that the 2012+ was going to be made to fit the older gens too so that we could reduce the amount of part numbers and stock, but I didn't receive a confirmation yet.

You can probably salvage those wings on that damage bumper. You only need a few inches on either side connecting to the fender, depending on the aftermarket bumper you go with.

That would be a great sales pitch to an insurance company...that you'd be willing to "salvage" the existing bumper if they'll just finance the ARB, or etc.
