Hello!

Not really a new "member" in 70-series, since i´ve had before BJ-75, LJ-70 and RJ-70. But here is my LJ-70 now.

-LJ-70 -87
-Rover 3.5 efi V8 engine
-ZF auto + Defender transfer case
-HJ-60 axles with air lockers
-HDJ-80 springs
-37" Boggers in 8" bead locks
-six point roll cage
-Tabor 9K front and T-max 9.5 rear
-Lots of dents and bruises

Okey, I sold that "british joke" and bought traditional and very reliable BJ-73 with 3B. Toyota locker is waiting to go to rear axle and probably air locker in front. Transfer case gearings are also coming and winches front and rear.

Hello guys, I'm not new to the forums but I just got my first land Cruiser and I'm giddy as a schoolgirl :D , it's a 2.008 FZJ71 Made in Venezuela.

It's pretty much stock right now, except for the tires (Kumho Venture MT 285-75-16") and a few interior accesories, but I will be installing mods pretty soon.

Here it is:

1990 pradp diesel

copy 1990 Prado.webp Hello ...I'm wondering if anyone can help a newbie fix a problem with my 1990 Prado Diesel. I have a starting issue.Have new battery(optima), cable ends, and doeasn't make a complete ignition contact when the key is turned. Everything will light up after cleaning and tightening the cable ends but then when the ignition is engauged it goes dead and won't turn over. Battery connections are good but something else is out of whack. Any ideas...I sure could use the help. Thanks

(It sounds like the something in the starter solenoid or the contacts in the starter)

I recently had starting problems in my HZJ78, it didn't start as soon as you turned the key, had a little lag before turning over which became longer and longer over time. It seemed to me like the battery was dying, but it just needed new contactors in the starter motor.

Hi there I'm new to IH8 MUD. Stumbled across the website looking for new seats for my HZJ75 Troopie. Well I love all this stuff so here is my Rig. the photo is about 4 years old and the old digga has had a few mods since then.
