Man, that's great! Thanks for letting me know. It kinda makes me get my second wind when I hear people reporting enthusiastic results!

Please send me photos of the carpet installed.

Thanks again,
David

Will do... it just may not be anytime soon! However, I hope I can work it in before winter :)

How much would just the trunk/ cargo area carpet for an 88 fj62 be? Thanks
unfortunately, the mfr. isn't currently offering partial sets

David, just got back home (SAS Summit) and shipped mine back. Looking forward to getting the updated version. Also want to confirm I'm on the waiting list for the grey later 60 model set. Thanks, Jim
Yep, got you on the list Jim!

How much modification would be required to fit the early style carpet into a later style?
I'm not really sure, but that won't be necessary, as I hope to have late-floor carpet available in the foreseeable future. Stay tuned......

Please add me to the late 85 carpet list.

Thanks,
Anne

My replacement carpet arrived today and they did a fantastic job. Kudos again to David for riding herd on this huge project!!!!!

David...Please make sure I'm on the list for full set....10/82 build date.....gray....thanks so much for doing this for everyone!

Wait, is that grey? I thought I had you down for brown.......or is it brown and the photo color is wrong?

Heck, I may have both wrong! However, if they returned the wrong color, I'll have them get it right

Nope, it's brown. It's all good.

David...I'm on the list for for the FJ62 carpet but until it arrives, can you give a brief installation tutorial per the manufactures recommendations. My main inquiry begins after unpacking. There are several carpet creases due to the packing/shipping process. To eliminate the creases. -

(1.) Should I rest the unpacked carpet in the sun?
(2.) Should I flatten the carpet (x the raised seat mounting points & trans tunnel) via a weighted object?
(3.) Should I use a heat gun while installing to enhance a tight flat surface?

Or maybe I should be doing nothing and the creases will disappear on their own.

For those of you who have already installed your carpet, feel free to chime in!
