Fill up report.

Before SC i was getting 11.1 MPG based on the computer. I didn't do the old fashion calculation. Should of but I was lazy.

After SC I am getting 11.5 MPG based on how much I filled up and the distance I drove. I drove normal and didn't do 0-60 pulls. I did do some slight spirited driving when getting on on-ramps (only part throttle). Trip computer says I'm doing 15.9mpg which is wrong due to the increased injector size.

Overall feel is low end torque is there, and getting up to speed isn't requiring more then a 1/4 throttle input versus half throttle. Intake noise is gone (I had the TRD intake box) and only a slight SC whine can be heard. The LC200 has been limited to baby carting duties so I haven't used it's full potential yet. Will be doing some long hauls in the summer and will see how it does then.

Is the cost of install worth it? fuel saving vs cost is not there. Power is there and if you are like Tim the toolman..."More Power"!!

I spoke with sparks today because I'm an idiot flirting with expensive ideas. I was told by a tech that the HP to the wheels is about 400 and 550 to the crank. So, any idea what our stock 381 is to the wheels? Did you by chance Dyno that truck prior to your SC?

Third..... !! just got off the phone with Sparks......now just need to get my dang truck back from Kooks...

There must be at least 15% driveline losses (~320 hp at the wheels) or maybe even 20% (~300 at the wheels).

@NetJunky - would you do it again (SC'r) given the knowledge you have purchased?
thanks

Found out I needed a bigger vehicle to haul the family and the DEZL TOY (80 series manual diesel) just didn't cut it so I began my search of a 200 series.

Told a friend and found out that he knew somebody selling one. It was a 2009 Silver 200 series with 135k miles and was in good condition. Needed a little TLC and i picked it up the beginning of this month.

Right after purchasing it I found all the items I wanted to fix which included the following:
Scrubbed down the interior down
Fixed the TSB outside mirror rattles
Missing Rear Seat Entertainment knob
Roof rail rubber pieces
And some trim clips

Then this week I did the following items:

Installed LED interior bulbs - Polarg LED wedge bulbs
DENSO Plasmacluster (air filter and LED light) available overseas
Updated Navi Map (was original)
Kuda Cellphone mount (concept is great, fitment not so much)
Added a spare key (Lexus Card key)

Also purchased but haven't installed the following items:
Prestigious Society Nav mod
Prestigious Society video input mod
Tundra TRD Pro wheels & tires
Factory front spacers
13-15 Headlight swap
LED light bar inside grill

future mods:
ARB skid plate
Slee 2nd battery tray(so I can tailgate with the RSE)
BlueSea dual battery setup w/BlueSea fuse panels
Extra USB ports

Going to be a fun build

@NetJunky Where did you find the replacement rear entertainment knobs?

Dealer sells them. You have to ask them to look it up.

I went looking for it, and all I could find was the entire rear panel.

@NetJunky did the TRD intake not work with the Sc'er kit ? what software are you running ?

very jealous.......

E

TRD intake is a smaller diameter than the SC intake.

Using a Unichip.

TRD intake is for sale now.

Do you have to start using premium gas due to the increased pressure from the SC?

Yes I have been using premium in since I wanted to make sure I had premium when I did the SC.

I don't daily the LC so I'm ok with it.

updates.

During the install of the SC we found out my passenger side headers had the EGR flange break off. Thinking it was low pressure it was just siliconed back on and driven. Was fine for 3 weeks and now I have a check engine light.

Error is stated as P0171/P0174 so I though my MAF went bad. Wasn't the case as I replaced that and I still have the codes. Remembered the header was cracked and exhaust/intake pressure can change due to the crack. Going to have it checked tomorrow and report back. Hope that fixes the MPG also...been getting 11-12 mpg lately.
