S if this is going to be a trailer /asphalt queen why not just do the axle swap - much cheaper, gets you a better ride I've been told. Im toying with this one actually

You may also look into a cantilever set-up for the rear if you want to keep cargo space. I'm not sure that's ever been done before.

Going into combat mode for the next few weeks. New house took 4.5ft of water; garage, POD, workshop, barn all took about 5-8in. Got the 60 out just in time - only water to the floorboards. About a week's worth of work, then ins will take over. The 60 build will resume shortly. . .

The pic is after the water dropped about 7-8 feet.

Shane, hope things get cleared up at your house soon. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Good luck with everything! If I lived closer I would come help! Hope everything works out for the best!

House is still flooded. The Gov't still sucks. Insurance companies suck donkey penis. Still in combat mode.

Hope all is well with the community and appreciate the kind words/support while I've been dark.

Made a decision. Spend the money to erect a new garage to hopefully work on my cruiser next year-

or. . .

Spend the garage money and get the work done on my cruiser this year.

I opted for the latter, of course, and she's heading to HFS4x4 (Stan) this Thursday (if shipping goes as planned).

Frame, suspension, steering, motor, tranny. . .all coming to fruition.

Good thoughts your way Shane. Hang in there brother. You'll have an amazing rig soon enough.

I've been thinking about your predicament from time to time.
Glad to hear you didn't get sucked down a sink hole or something.
